Beginning of the End
"What did I do wrong?
The world is dark and I can't see...
My life is over.
My family and friends, all dead.
My athletic career, all gone to waste over some
stupid joke," said Akio Masao as his eyes closed.
This 18 year old young man, Akio, was named the best athlete on Earth at the age of 13. No matter which sport he played, he always rose quickly to the top. Any other matters besides sports weren't important to Akio as he never had interest in them. Akio was known for his quick reflexes, high IQ, strength, speed, and decision making skills which made him destroy competition in both individual and team sports.
At the peak of Akio's glory, many assassins were hired to take care of him. Many people were jealous of the talent and good looks that he was blessed with.
Akio was a tall, muscular figure with shiny black hair that smoothly dropped to his shoulders. His skin was white, like jade, and as smooth as a baby. His temperament was always calm, and his voice pleasing, attracting many girls.
As the many jealous people hated Akio, they attacked those surrounding him. Akio's family and friends all died, while Akio survived.
No matter which assassin was sent after Akio, they were never able to kill him successfully. It could be said that Akio was also blessed with luck as he always escaped death by a hair's breadth.
BUT DID HE?!
As Akio opened his eyes, he realized that his surroundings had changed entirely.
"Where am I? This place is all dark, and I can't even see! I also barely have room and am so restricted..." Akio got mad and started kicking as hard as he could to make room.
Meanwhile, a woman named Hana Masao was screaming in pain.
"Oh darling, Kaito, our child is really tenacious... He's been kicking me for hours. His will and stubbornness is something to be appreciated, so I will name him Akio. I know that he will be very bright in the future, and he will lead our family to one with pride." Hana laughed heartily as she kissed Kaito.
"Don't worry, Hana, no matter how our child grows up in the future, I will always bear the weight of the family and make sure that you all could live a happy life," said Kaito as he patted his chest in reaffirmation.
