Chapter 2: The Start of Something
Scarlet and Felix kept looking at each other whenever they are in the same class. When lunch started, Scarlet tried to look for Felix. Then, she ran into a crowd outside. She squished all the way to the middle to see what was going on. Felix and a boy named James were fighting. Felix started to growl. Nobody thought of anything, but Scarlet grabbed Felix and dragged him to an empty classroom. She locked the door and pushed him to the back of the class. "What are you doing in our territory!?" Scarlet yelled, "When my parents find you here, they're going to hunt you down!" Felix looked at Scarlet with anger. "I can be where ever I want. You can't control me!" Replied Felix. Felix's eyes changed from dark brown to a bright, glowing red. His teeth became sharper. Scarlet tried to calm him down. Felix soon changed into a black wolf. A teacher knocked on the door. He started using his keys, so Scarlet had to act fast.
"Look, let's talk about this, okay?" Scarlet said calmly, "Open up!" Yelled the teacher as he tried to open the door with his keys. Scarlet looked for an escape, she noticed a window that was opened. She had an idea. "Come and get me mutt!" Said Scarlet at she started to run for the window. Felix ran to Scarlet in rage. Scarlet jumped out of the window as Felix chased her to the woods. The teacher came in and just saw an empty classroom. Scarlet soon got tackled by the wolf and they rolled all the way down a hill. Scarlet then changed into a white wolf with blue eyes. Felix got off of her and they both stood up. They growled and circled. They both turned back into human and stared. "Why are you in our territory?" Scarlet asked again. "I live with my foster parents," answered Felix, "They don't know what I am." Scarlet stared at him, observing him. "What happened to your pack?" Asked Scarlet. "I don't know." Felix replied. Scarlet sighed and scratched her head. Felix didn't seem like a threat, so she planned to talk to her parents after school. If you haven't figured it out yet, Felix, Scarlet, and her parents are werewolves. Well, not werewolves, more like half-bloods or wolf-bloods. Basically half-wolf and half-human.
