A year had passed since Sagar had his run in with the wolf pack in the forest. When he got back home he made sure he didn't have any more wounds as the would just worry her unnecessarily as for his torn clothes well that was just a given considering he was fighting.
He continued with his routine of training and traveling to the forest to hunt improving himself one step at a time. His magic has actually made the most progress with him not only being able to apply in battle but also with him not needing to hide it from his mother. He managed to get his strength to 28, his agility to 22, his vitality at 27 and finally his magic is at 24. By now his father had already come back for a visit and his mother told Garris his secret. At first he was skeptical like Beatrice but after Sagar showed him what he was able to do he started to believe them.
Another event that happened was that Beatrice was fully able to walk now. These days she doesn't use her wheelchair and just has it sitting somewhere collecting dust for now. All Beatrice herself was waiting for was for her mana core to finish repairing itself allowing her to regain her past strength while also letting her to do some things she had been putting off.
Sagar himself was working on finally manipulating the final element in his repertoire which was psychokinesis. This wasn't the only one he had problems with as there were other elements that required a completely different way of handling his mana. To do this Sagar had to push mana into his brain and allow it to flow through it letting him then use the mana in his brain to move things with his mind another example would be nuclear as he had to use his mana in a way that gave it a sort of radiating property. Of course this was just a basic application of both of them but everything must start from somewhere.
He could of spent his time learning the higher tiered spells of the ones he already has control over as with his growing mastery the system unlocked the spells some time ago but Sagar was determined to do this before continuing onward. This was not only to add more variety along with mystery to his attacks but also to see where he would focus in. While you could say he's had relatively smooth sailing learning all the things he has but as he climbed up in power such things wouldn't be as simple anymore, so Sagar wanted to decide as soon as possible.
As for his physical techniques he's already gotten started on learning the more advanced level skills. The wasn't much need to think too much on what he was going to focus on as he decided long ago with his main form of attacking being his saber and then having some moves he could use without a weapon as well.
With his training in the forest he improved greatly as well. One of the main things he was able to accomplish was that he now was able to switch between using his internal energy and mana. Before he would have to focus a bit to use them now it was fast enough to affect him in combat like in the fight with the wolf pack. Sagar had even fought larger groups some with several Intermediate level beast in them and though it took some effort he was able to defeat them.
His points that he had gathered so far were pretty much empty at the moment but that's because he spent them all. He made sure to buy some healing and support items but what most of his points went to 'Status Enhancement Passives' and some demons. The passive's he bought life and mana bonus boosted both his life energy and mana up by ten percent. As for the demons he bought he had bought two which were Pyro Jack and Badb Catha.
Pyro Jack looked like a floating jack-o-lantern wearing a bluish robe and witch hat. From his robe one of his gloved hands sticks out holding a burning lantern with it. The things is is that if you tried to look within his robe that was somewhat open from holding his hand out you wouldn't see anything but darkness. As for Badb Catha the demon itself looked just like a giant crow so it's appearance was mostly inconspicuous unlike Pyro Jack. The main reason he summoned Badb Catha was so he could have something to watch over his mother while he was gone so she was mostly out and about as for Pyro Jack his main role was to help out in battle maybe even do some other things in the future but for now that was his only role. Pyro Jack stayed in a kuda or summoning tube that Sagar bought from the system as it allows him to bring the demons he has with him places and not draw attention.
Now he had finally managed to circulate his mana through the different parts of his brain he could freely use psychokinesis. He used it to move some of the pebbles that were on the ground and started to spin them in a formation. While he was preoccupied with this he heard something go off from the system. When he looked he saw that he had a notification of some sorts and figured that he got an achievement of some kind.
[Congratulations to User for his accomplishment of being able to manipulate all of the elements. For this you have been rewarded with the one magic you are missing 'Almighty']
Hearing the system Sagar got really excited as he saw before that almighty was completely locked out for him and he didn't really know how to even start using it so he gave up on it for the time being. Now with the system unlocking it for him his earlier dilemma has been solved even if it's going to be difficult focusing on almighty would push him farther than any other magic.
Now all that was left was to get started on learning the most domineering element imaginable.
Hope you enjoyed the chapter.
