Chapter 22: Playing Detective (2)

As I drove to his studio, continuum questions and thoughts kept on and playing on my head. I didn't realise that had parked right in front of his studio. There he stood with his broad body, his shirt was off. I stood there examined his whole body thoroughly, all the thoughts that I had, they diminished after seeing the man that I love so dearly. I couldn't get to see the painting that he was busy with. I slowly walked towards him, I never cared if he had paint all over his chest, I needed to hold him so tight, just to listen to his heartbeat perhaps that would calm me down. During that course, I felt as if I could lose myself to him forgetting that it is only a couple of days to our wedding. The anxiety that filled me up that instant, the only thing that could help subdue my nerves was to hang on to him. I embraced him, he turned around, to his surprise he did not even realise that I was at the studio. He looked into my eyes, I slowly raised my hand to touch his cheeks, I rubbed my hand slowly towards his beard. He followed my hand without saying a word. His look was so intensifying, as though he knew what was going on through my mind. He dropped the paint brush that he had on his hand. He grabbed hold of my hands and started kissing both of them slowly, with his eyes directly facing me. He let go of one hand, he drew me closer to his chest, and he brushed off the hair on my face and said "Hi" with his deep voice, that is so bold and mind blowing. I couldn't face him since he had already read my mind, my gaze was on his chest, I opened my mouth, I couldn't stomach it out, he slowly pressed his lips towards mine, a simple kiss made me want more than just a kiss. I pressed my lips into a thin line. He never removed his gaze from me. I bit my lip. He wrapped me around and brought me closer. I yearned to kiss him. Out of my bewilderment he sealed the kiss, we kissed as our tongues intertwined together dancing to the rhythm of love.
