Chapter 10: Ascension Spirit Pills
At Shao Lei's peak, the Advanced Outer Disciple Girl came back and reported what Meng Hao told her. Shao Lei kept her happy face as she played with the red and blue pills in her hands "Little Qiu, do you know what these 2 pills are?"
Little Qiu shook her head and asked: "No Miss Lei, Those pills have a weird smell, are they poison pills?"
Shao Lei laughed with a hint of crazy in her eyes "These two pills are the Dual Potential Stealing Pills. They cost 100,000 Spirit Pills, I met a boy who has a special Spirit Flame Bloodline and many other talents that I can't feel, but with this Pill, his talent will be mine and my cultivation will increase way beyond this sect."

She started planning her extraction of Meng Hao's talent for the next day, she was completely blinded by greed and the fear of being kicked out of her clan. She had no idea that now only does Meng Hao have greater strength than her, he also has the 3rd Elder protecting him behind his back.

The next morning Meng Hao slumped down to the floor and gasped with exhaustion. Meng Hao set a formation to allow the Spirit Vien to feed his Qi and Spirit Energy while he refined the pills. This way even though he didn't have high Qi reserves he was able to spend the entire night refining and finished the order of 500 Bone Refinement Pills.
Meng Hao stored them all in a giant bag and put it inside his Spatial Ring. He started making his way to the Mission Hall and afterward, he went to the Herb Storage Area to buy some herbs for the Ascension Spirit Pills. He confirmed after finishing the 500 Bone Refinement Pills that he has enough money to get enough herb for 50 Ascension Spirit Pills and 2 Meridian Opening Pills.
Deacon Yuan was shocked to see Meng Hao finish the order of 500 Pills in one night. Meng Hao immediately ran to the Herb Storage Area and spent all the 1000 Spirit Pills on herbs for the Pills.
Meng Hao rushed back to his peak and used the Spirit Vien to create a Sealing Formation and a Sheild Formation. This pill needed his full attention or else he would waste a bunch of the herbs on a failed attempt. His eyes turned serious and the only thing he was thinking about was cultivating the Ascension Spirit Pills. With the 50 Pills his Martial Spirits have a chance of breaking into the Earth Stage and so his cultivation speed and power would exceed and if he could consume the Meridian Opening Pills he had a chance of upgrading his Divine Suppressing Physique to the Copper Rib Rock Body Stage.
Meng Hao completely forgot about everything around him and so he spent the next day refining the pills. He spent no time to rest or distract himself because his Dao Heart was too reach the peak of cultivation as fast as possible. Taking the time to interact with people is something he wanted to keep to a minimum because that is something that distracts from his Dao Heart. The Ice Heart Breathing Technique was starting to affect him mentally as the first things he started to push into the back of his mind was real human connections. But a positive is that his cultivation is going to be faster as his mind was completely clear of all emotions during his cultivation and his feelings would be unaffected by things like death. Meng Hao knew of the side effects and he didn't care, but what he didn't know was that his face was slowly turning feminine due to the Yin used during the Ice Heart Breathing Technique and soon his body will have an equal amount of Yin and Yang and he will have no gender. When having an equal amount of Yin and Yang in the body, a person can create the Yin-Yang Circle in the Dantain to increase ones affinity to Qi.
Meng Hao completed refining all the 50 Ascension Spirit Pills and he actually made 3 Meridian Opening Pills but he was too tired to cultivate that day so he stored the pills in his spatial ring and slept to recover his Qi and Spirit Energy.

At Shao Lei's house, her face was filled with anger, she called another regular outer disciple to go and call Meng Hao to her peak again but the Outer Disciple came back and said that he couldn't walk inside of Meng Hao's peak because there was a shield formation. Shao Lei was extremely nervous because of the 1-month deadline that was approaching fast, she needed all the time she could get to gain Meng Hao's talent.

Meng Hao woke up the next morning, his Qi and Spirit Energy recovered well. His Qi and Spirit Energy seemed to grow stronger, like a muscle the more you use it the stronger it becomes. His mind was set on one thing, which was to upgrade his Physique and Martial Spirit, today.
Meng Hao pulled out the dark black Ascension Spirit Pills and the light brown Meridian Opening Pills. They were both Tier 5 Spirit Pills and they both are 100% Impurity free. His cultivation would have no long term problems due to the pills having no impurities.
Meng Hao had a decisive look, these pills would mark the start of his obsession for cultivation to get stronger, not because of love or hate or any filial relationships... but for himself.
