Elder Ru saw that Ouyang Ru had a Human Stage 6 Martial Spirit and got worried that something might happen to Meng Hao, but seeing his confident face she calmed down a little.
Meng Hao spawned the Bow Martial Spirit and an indescribable golden aura started to flow from the bow. The elders stood up in shock and in awe at the power and aura of the Bow.
Meng Hao activated the Myriad Piercing Bow Arts and he shot an arrow into Ouyang Ru's heart and she instantly died, the speed and power of the bow were immeasurable for those in the Qi Sensing Stage. He was a stage above her and with his Heaven-Piercing Golden Bow, she had no chance at all.
Ouyang Tu didn't even have a chance to react but once he saw his daughter killed by her former fiancee he went crazy and he tried to attack Meng Hao. Too bad he didn't even get a chance because Elder Ru immediately released her aura and he got suppressed causing his legs to stop working. Ouyang Tu fell to his hands and knees while trying to hold in the anger and pain. He looked at the Meng Clan with red malicious eyes, and since Meng Hao stated that he had no ties with the Meng Clan she didn't care if they were harmed or not.
Elder Ru jumped out of the spectator box and she walked up the Meng Hao while saying "I can already tell you are quite a hand full, we will be going to the sect immediately."
Elder Ru whistled and a giant eagle dived from the sky and landed in front of them. Elder Ru threw Meng Hao on the Eagle and she pulled the reins to start flying to the sect.
Elder Tu simply stood up and left, his objective was to recruit Ouyang Ru but not at the cost of offending the Verdant Alchemy Sect. Although on the outside the 3 Sects seemed to have equal standing the Primal Spirit Sect and the Wilderness Spirit Sect both relied on the Verdant Alchemy Sect to provide pills. Their standings were completely different.
Meng Hao asked Elder Ru "How am I going to be treated at the Sect? Am I going to join as an Outer Disciple? What is your standing in the sect?"
Elder Ru laughed "You have a lot of questions, well your treatment is going to be superb because of you flame bloodline. You are going to enter as a trial disciple and if you are able to make Tier 1 Pills you will be an outer disciple, if you can make tier 3 you will be an inner disciple, and if you are able to make tier 5 you will be a core disciple. My place is the 6 Elder of the Sect and I am the Patriarch's daughter and the Grand Elders, Great Granddaughter."
Meng Hao was shocked "You have such a high position, Why did you come to that little town?"
Elder Ru laughed "I was bored staying in the sect all day and when I saw that another outer sect elder was leaving so I decided to take his spot. I only went for a little change of scenery but I never expected to find a genius like you."
Meng Hao then asked, "What cultivation level are you at and what spirit flame do you use?"
Elder Ru answered "I am at Qi Rotation Stage 5. I just broke through recently and my spirit flame is the Tier 4 Beast Flame."
Meng Hao's flame is Top Tier Heavens Grade Spirit Flame which is the highest level for a flame but due to his low cultivation level he can't control the full power of the flame and he can only use 5% of its true power. But having a Tier 4 Beast Flame confirms that she has a large standing in the sect.
They talked about some other topics regarding the sect and other cultivation related topics until they reached the sect. Meng Hao had seen many things thru the memories of the 3 Legendary Cultivators but seeing with this gigantic sect with his own eyes was completely different.
Elder Ru saw Meng Hao's expression and she nodded her head "Yup, this sect has been in my family for generations as the patriarchs and matriarchs of the sect. I am the next in line as the matriarch of the sect so it is your lucky day to know me before I become the matriarch. You might have a chance of being my Medicine Servant."
Meng Hao didn't respond but he smirked to himself "I will be far beyond this sects scope once I start upgrading my Martial Spirit using the Ascendant Spirit Pills. My Dao Heart is a straight and direct conviction, no one can stop me from increasing my cultivation and getting stronger and if anyone tries they die."
Elder Ru dropped Meng Hao off at a building and handed him a letter that allowed him to become a trial disciple for the sect. Meng Hao walked into the building and found an old man at a desk.
Meng Hao walked up to the desk and asked: "Senior, is this where I pick up the clothes and keys?"
The Elder grabbed the letter from Meng Hao's hands and opened it. He then pulled out a box with the Trial Disciple Clothes and keys to the courtyard given to each trial disciple. He showed Meng Hao the directions on the map that was included in the box. The map also showed each major building of the sect including the Skills and Alchemy Libary, the Missions Hall, and the Sect Gathering Hall, etc. It also showed the places where it is a no go for trial disciples.
Meng Hao followed the map to the trial disciple area and found his courtyard, while he was walking to his courtyard he saw other disciples in the courtyards practicing pill making or increasing their cultivation.
He could tell just by looking at the entrance that this courtyard was better quality than the other courtyards, he became on edge because he knew this might attract jealousy and eventually trouble for him. The courtyard itself was well furnished and in the middle was a small spirit vein for Alchemy. All courtyards in the sect have a Spirit Vien connected but the quality of the Vien differed among the status of each disciple. Meng Hao noted the purity of this Spirit Vien was much better than when he felt fluctuations from the other ones.
Meng Hao was tired after the long trip and he decided to rest for the day before he planned on how to get the ingredients for the Ascendant Spirit Pill.
