Chapter 8: Time Travel⌚️pt 2
The high school years flew by and before I knew it I was falling deeper and deeper in love with Joy. There was times where she looked and acted like she liked me too but I guess I was just imagining it. Maybe? Soon it was graduation and I noticed that Joy didn't have anyone there to congratulate her; a rumour had been going on for some years that Joy's parents had left her but I didn't believe it at the time. The majority of our class were accepted into the same university; and that was the beginning, the beginning of the pain to come,the beginning of the end of the world. We just didn't know it yet
After the news was out, everyone panicked and the government had told us it was better to pair up with people than going out on your ones or in big groups. And that,my beautiful readers was when they partnered me with Joy,out of the people they picked me!😁The world must be on my side. I was so happy whilst all Joy did was give me a dirty look. Now we fast forward a month and I'm pretending to sleep whilst Joy is stupidly revealing her list to me. She probably wanted me to hear right?😉
