Chapter 21: King Sights
(Luna POV)
I was asleep when I heard the door open and felt someone jumping on the bed. "Mommy.Mommy.Mommy". I opened my eyes to see it was Athena jumping on the bed. " What is it sweetie?" I asked. "Daddy said that we can go to his work so I can practice. He left already because he had to take care of something, but he said we can tell one of the maids to have a car prepared to take us. Please, can we go?" she said. "Okay okay we can go let me get dressed " I said and she a big grin on her face and jumped off the bed. I got up from the bed and went to the bathroom.
I took a shower and got dressed into something I thought would be professional because I didn't want to go into a well known company in sweats. So I put on a white blouse with a black jacket, a black skirt, and some light black heels. I honestly looked like I was a boss, but it was cute. I got out of the bathroom to see Athena was sitting on the bed.
I grabbed my purse, phone, and keys and said "Let's go" and Athena ran to me and held my hand. We walked downstairs and went outside and a car was waiting for us. The driver stood next to the car and as we were walking towards him, he asked "Where to, Madam?". I was taken back by the madam. I'm not that old. " Oh no need for the madam. Please call me Luna and we are going to King Sights ".
He nodded his head slightly and opened the door for us. We entered the car and the door was closed behind us. It took about Fifteen minutes to get to King Sights. When we got out of the car, we looked at the building and it was HUGE. "Wow, Daddy's job is very big." Athena said and I nodded.
I thanked the driver and we entered the building. We walked up to the receptionist and I said "hello" to get her attention. "Good afternoon. How may I help you?" she asked me. "Um. Yes. We are here to here to see Mr. King." I answered her back. "Do you have an appointment?" she asked and before I could reply, I heard my name being called. "Luna?" someone said behind me.
I turned around to see Nathan. "Oh my God. It's really you." I smiled and said "Hi Nathan". He literally just stood there in shock. "Um. Am I gonna get a hug?" I asked and he snapped out of it and hugged me. "What are you doing here? Does Jacob know you are here?" he asked while breaking our hug. "Oh Jacob knows we are here. He found us in Selena and brought us back." I answered. He had a confused face. "We? Us?" he said in a confused tone. "Oh yeah. Me and my daughter, Athena" I said.
Athena came out from behind me and slightly waved at Nathan. He was in complete shocked. I laughed at him and said "before you even ask, yes she is Jacob's daughter". He went into more shock. It was really funny.
Athena then started to tug on my jacket and asked "Mommy, who is he?". "This is Daddy's best friend,Nathan." I replied. After hearing this, she went up to Nathan and held out her hand. "Hi Nathan, I'm Athena" she said waiting for his reaction. He snapped out of it and shook her hand. He smiled at her and he absolutely loved her.
"So how have you been Nathan?" I asked him and he looked at me. "Oh I have been good. I met my mate the other day and I'm Jacob's assistant." he answered with a smile. "Ooo I can't wait to meet her... Now that we have caught, can you take us to see Jacob?" I asked. "No problem follow me." he replied.
We followed him to the elevator and we went to the top floor. Athena was getting really excited. It is really funny watching her jumping around. The doors to the elevator opened and Nathan led us to Jacob's door. He knocked on the door and heard Jacob's nice husky voice saying "come in."
Nathan opened the and let us in first before following us in. Jacob was looking down at some papers when he looked up and saw us. He began to smile and Athena ran to hug Jacob. He hugged her back and let go of her. "I have a special room prepared for you to practice." he said to Athena and had a big smile. "One of the lady guards will take you now. Okay?" He said and she nodded.
Jacob pressed a button and a lady in vest came in. Jacob came around his desk with Athena and introduced each other. "Athena this is Ms. Lionheart. Ms. Lionheart this is my daughter, Athena. Ms. Lionheart please take her to the practice room." Ms. Lionheart nodded and held out her hand for Athena to grab and she did and they both walked out of the room.
I looked at Jacob with a slightly nervous look and he walked up to me and held onto my hands. "She will be fine" he said with assurance and I nodded my head. He turned to Nathan and said "Why don't you take her on a tour of the place since I have a lot to be done." Nathan nodded and Jacob let go of my hands and went to his desk. I went with Nathan and he took me on a tour of this huge company.
