Chapter 13: Welcome Home
(Luna's POV)
The next morning I woke up to a very bright light and a empty bed. I got up from the bed and went into the bathroom and took a nice refreshing shower. I then brushed my teeth and got dressed for the day.
I got hungry so I walked downstairs. I entered the dining room to see the lights were off. 'Weird' I thought. Then out of nowhere the lights turned on and there was a very loud "SURPRISE!!WELCOME HOME!!". It was the whole pack. The whole room was decorated and filled with people. They threw me a whole party. I was about to cry.
After being shocked from the welcoming, I felt a pair of arms wrap around my waist. I was Jacob. " Welcome home" he said and I turned to him and said "it's good to be home" and I pulled him into a kiss, which he then returned. I was so happy.
Through most of the rest of the day, Jacob took me around to greet everyone with our fingers interlocked. The party was inside at first, but after a while we took it outside. They had a pool this whole time. Oh hell no. I was not going to pass up this opportunity. I let go of Jacob's hand and ran towards the pool. I didn't care what I was wearing. It didn't stop me from jumping and yelling "CANNON BALL" into the water.
When I reached the surface of the water I saw half of the pack running and jumping into the water as well. It was so fun. That was until I saw someone who wasn't having fun. I looked to the side the pool and saw Jacob with just his feet in the water staring mid space. I slowly swam to him.
"Hey you. Why aren't you having fun?" I asked. "I am. I just can't show it. I am Alpha after all." he replied. I gave him the most serious look a person you can give and said "that is straight up bullshit".Then he looks at me and says " I'm serious". His reply got really annoyed. Then I thought of something. 'Oh he would kill me if did that'.
I began to lightly giggle to myself then looked back at Jacob who was back in his own world. 'That's it. I have to do what I thought of' I said to myself. "Can you at least help me out so I can "have fun" with you too" I said emphasizing the "have fun" in the quotation marks I'm making with my hands. He let out a little laugh and held his hand out. I grabbed his hand and slightly jumped up putting my weight towards him. 'Now eniciate my plan' I thought to myself.
After helping me try to get out of the pool for a couple of seconds, I just looked at him and had the biggest evil grin ever. He looked at me with a scared look. But before he could say anything, I gripped his hand tighter and put all of our weight back towards me. *Splash*. Now we were both in the water.
I began to laugh so hard as I looked at Jacob who was now soaking wet. Then he looked at me with and cold, evil look. It sent shivers down my spine. That look lasted for a moment and then he said "oh now you going to get it". I got scared and began to swim away from him as he chased me around the water.
It took him awhile to get me because I kept splashing water in his face, but eventually he caught me. He grabbed my arm and pulled me close to his body. We were both laughing so hard. We were laughing for awhile and we slowly just stopped laughing and smiled at each other. He looked so happy and I was happy too.
Then he looked at me with his smile and held my hand said "Let's get married". Hearing this, I stepped back a little and said "what" in disbelief. He then put his hand in his pocket and took out a gold ring with a diamond in the center shaped like a moon. I looked at him and he said it again "marry me". At this point I was on the brink of tears.
I looked at him with the biggest smile and said " yes, but under one condition ". He looked at me with a concerned face. I then continued " You have to mark me ". After I said that, his big smile came back and he said as he put the ring on my finger "I was already planning to". I laughed a little and pulled him into a deep passionate kiss. This was officially the best night of my life.
