Olivia "Please come in first"
Olivia said, and guided Julian into her house. Julian nodded and walked in. He looked around Olivia's house and found it small but cozy. The temperature is a little high for his liking, but it is still livable.
Olivia looks at Julian and points him toward the only furniture in the house and that is her bed, and since this house is very small, she cannot put anything more than a bed, a freezer, and a satellite TV.
And with this house being very close to the volcano, Olivia doesn't have any wired connections connecting this home to the other towns on Akala island.
Julian sat down on her bed, which she just used to sleep on. She hasn't even tidied it up.
Olivia then took out a bottle of water from her refrigerator and tossed it to Julian. He caught it with one hand and uncaped its top to take a sip.
Cold water was a great relief for him right now. Even though he can live in the toughest situation, a bottle of cold water helps him keep his cool.
He wondered how Olivia could live in a place like this.
Olivia also helped herself with a bottle of cold water and approached Julian and sat down right next to him on her bed.
She doesn't seem to be bothered by sitting right next to him, as she is very open to strangers and shows no sign of wariness towards them. Some people can easily take advantage of this, but they would be foolish if they try to do so. At the end of the day, she is one of the strongest, and if not the strongest, trainers on Akala island.
And Julian also doesn't mind this beautiful woman sitting right next to him. His eyes fall on her body. She is slender and has muscle definition. He can see her abs and the muscle definition on her arms and shoulders.
She is clearly a very active woman, and it shows on her body. He can also see tan lines on her body. Olivia's skin is dark, but that is not her natural skin color. She is a little lighter and has a similar complexion to the people living on the island but working in heat close to the volcano almost every day has darkened her skin except the parts of her body that are covered by the little clothes she wears. Them being her little top and very short shorts.
Julian "So let's get down to business. You must have heard about Cipher. Have you encountered them yet?"
Julian asked.
Olivia "No I have not. I have been busy with other stuff. The volcano has recently shown signs of eruption, so I have been busy. As for cipher, I let law enforcement handle it. Though cipher is a big problem, the volcano eruption is much more important and at the top of my priority list. Eruption right now can become a serious problem".
Julian "Isn't volcano eruptions common here? Don't you have a way to deal with it?"
Julian asked with a frown. An island like Akala should know how to handle eruption events, since it's a frequent occurrence.
Olivia "Well, if it was a predictable occurrence, then we would have been ready for it, but something is not right this time. A volcanic eruption happens every four to five here on Akala island so people have enough time to prepare for it, but the last eruption only happened a year ago, so there should be no sign of any activity down there, but something's not right this time."
Julian "Why is that?"
Julian asks.
Olivia "I don't know. I have asked geologists to look into it but they are not here yet. If the volcano does erupt, it will bring great downfall to Akala island. It will even affect the surrounding islands as well."
Julian "I see. Maybe I can help with something. The sooner we resolve this volcano problem, the sooner we can get back to cipher business"
Olivia "Thank you, I really appreciate all the help I can get"
She says with a clap of her hands and a big smile on her face. Being an adult woman, she sometimes acts like a child.
Julian "So what can I do?"
Julian asked.
Olivia "There is nothing you can do right now as we still don't know anything that is causing the volcano to react, so you will have to wait until the geologists are here"
She said.
Julian "When are they arriving?"
Olivia "They will be here in a few days since they are coming from a different region"
Olivia said.
Julian "When they arrive here, you can reach out to me"
Julian said and exchanged phone numbers with Olivia.
He came here to discuss cipher with Olivia, but seeing that she doesn't know much about them was disappointing, but he couldn't blame her either. Her first and foremost job is the safety of this island, and an eruption is a huge threat.
After exchanging numbers, Julian bid farewell to her and decided to not visit the volcano, as he just learned about its status.
He doesn't want to do anything that might cause a premature eruption which can harm the locals. Julian decided to continue with his search for pokemons and totem dens in the forest of Akala itself.
He called out Charizard and got on top of his back and looked back at Olivia, who waved goodbye to him. He just nodded his head and signaled Charizard to fly.
And with a strong flap of his wing, Charizard took to the air, leaving behind nothing but a dust cloud.
