Chapter 8: VII. The Inevitable Fact
I'm getting a bit late now since the cars got more slow because of the heavy rain.
Out of consciousness, I get the actual drawing; her dreams, inside my bag.
It's a bit crumpled and old-looking a'ready but, the second I see it, I see everything. Including the inevitable fact— that she's gonna end up with another man today and the fact that— that man's just not me.
By the way, she doesn't know I still got this old precious drawing of hers. And I'm planning to surprise her and give it to her before she say her vows.
Just to remind her the first time we met, maybe, I just thought— maybe it will inflict something in her heart— love.
