Chapter 7: VI. The First Time We Met
As I continue driving to her wedding, a heavy rain has just started to fall. I played another video. It was when I was 13-year old. The first time we met.
That time, my mom got me a new camera as a gift. I went to the park to try it. Little did I know, there I would find the love of my life.
Unknowingly, two pretty souls were bound to cross each other's path that time.
One soul that is gonna marry somebody today. And one soul that is regretful, sorrowful— and sad today.
That time, I tried to capture the tallest tree there was. I aimed for it and clicked the shutter.
When I checked the photograph, I was amazed of the image. Then I saw a little girl, sitting behind the tree but her shoulder was shown enough to be captured by my camera.
I went to her. There lay a body of a beautiful woman. I started to have a crush oh her that moment. I asked her what was she doing. She said nothing. I asked her the second time.
She replied without giving a look, "Drawing my dream guy, my dream wedding and my dream house. Look at it, aren't they pretty?"
I knew I almost laughed that time, because all I did see were sticks connected to form a human and some stick-like hair too.
But when I looked at her face, I knew I was looking to an angel. That stopped my laughter, instead I said, "Can I take a picture of it?". "Sure."
That was the day I thank the most. Meeting someone that's about to change my life.
And she just did. Why can't I change hers too?
