Chapter 15: Be my Wife
'Just what the hell is this man talking' I thought to myself. Then I responded him, "actually you don't have to repay it whatever it is, in my world and time helping is something normal among people who lived in that modern world. You may not understand it but it's nothing great really." I told him while looking his eyes because I wanted also to show my sincerity, if not because of them I don't know what would have happen to me in this world where I am right now.
But he remained firm with want he wanted to tell me. With a serious look on his face, he explained " in exactly 8 days we will arrive in the Imperial City. I have to hand you over to the Imperial Court since the truth is you are a captive from the war in the southernmost boarder of the West Dynasty. I understand that it is not your fault that you fell in that chaotic land but fate has brought you here, I believe. So please hear me out first."
He let out a deep sigh while I was attentively listening to him. He continued, " I don't want you to undergo torture under the prison cell of the Imperial City. Since they don't know where you really came from and I don't think I am in the position also to voice out for you and stand on your side, I would like to make a proposal to you....Be my Wife".
