Chapter 34: How To Make Her Mine
"Belle, I'm sorry! I didn't expect my parents reaction to be so big. I'm sorry, they overwhelmed you! Please ignore them! Exclaimed Jay.
"No, it's okay. It's nice to have being felt love again. But me and my mouth! Why did I have to say my thoughts out loud! Oh I wanted to kill myself!
"Hey, it's alright. You know now that my parents are both crackheads and are totally in love with you. Belle, you know how I feel for you and when you got hurt, I felt my world crashing down. I would never be able to live if you were not beside me. I know what you had to go through and I know you may not be ready to accept me. But I do want to take you on a date, no many dates and we can pick up from there. I will not ask you to be my girlfriend now but I would want to ask you if you are keen to go on a date with me once you recover. No wait, after you get out of here and the doctor clears you."
Bell blushed red hearing the direct confession from Jay. She did like Jay but she didn't want to take things to the next level immediately. She was grateful that Jay understood her.
"Jay, thank you for taking care of me. I think I wouldn't have a speedy recovery if you weren't next to me. And YES, a big YES, I would like to go on a date with you. But now, come here and sit next to me. I want to know in detail everything that happened including to what is happening to that psycho ex of mine".
Jay let out a big sigh. He had one thing accomplished but as much as he wanted to protect Belle, he knew he had to tell her about Alex. He was really worried that Alex might escape and harm Belle. He needed to keep her safe.
He sat down and within the next 3 hours, he told her about him, what's happening and how restrained he is in the prison.
