"That was amazing. The passive magic you casted was almost perfect. It could match the powers of a D+ ranked adventurer. That's almost enough to survive at the Dasar desert by yourself. I saw students electrifying the area around them, and eventually transfer it into their body, but the magic wasn't intense enough to even be noticed on their body, yet you managed to make the lightning spread around your body and made it possible to be seen with a naked eye. Your potential is truly impressive." - Teacher was amazed by Kenso's skills, just like the class.
"Does that make me strong?" Kenso asked.
"It does, but you can become even stronger by training."
They spent the remaining time of the class to continue checking if the active magic is suitable for the remaining students and the results were:
Ratel was good at using active magic;
Kasaya was bad at using active magic;
Tarin was able to use active magic, but it was very unstable, which means he has a potential to develop it stronger, but it's useless at the moment.
It was almost evening and the class ended.
"Did you get a key for our apartment already, Kenso?" - Ratel asked as they were leaving the practice room.
"What apartment? The principal didn't mention it." - Kenso was confused.
"You didn't know? Every class has it's own apartment in the forest behind the academy.
Everyone gets their own room in the apartment, and since there are 10 rooms per an apartment we have 5 rooms empty. You can move in, i bet no one has anything against that." - Ratel explained to Kenso as they were leaving the academy.
"Sure thing, but i would need to pack up my stuff first, but i guess there's no time to do that today, so i can just go there and sleep without my stuff."
"Alright then, follow me!" - Ratel started running towards a path into the forest.
"Sure thing!" - Kenso replied as he started running with him.
After a two minute run they finally arrived at the apartment. It was a pretty big two-storied house. It was painted blue and even had a garden. There were five balconies at the front of the top floor, two at the both sides and one at the rear. The number of windows at the top floor matched the number of the balconies.
The ground floor had only one window on the both sides and one at the rear of the building though.
"Shall we come in, then?" - Ratel asked Kenso.
Kenso answered - "Yes, i'm so excited!"
Ratel opened the door and Kenso was the first one to come in. The first thing that caught his attention was the living room on the left. It had two cozy-looking Couches, a bunch of plants two coffee tables and a radio with speakers.
To the right there was a kitchen. It featured all the equipment a kitchen needs. A sink, a dishwasher, an oven, a microwave, six stoves, a fridge and a few drawers and cabinets.
Both the living room and the kitchen had a single door to different rooms. The living room door led to a research room where was a research table with an empty blueprint and a small library.
The kitchen door led to a laundry room with two washing machines and ten small clothing baskets.
If you face forward from the entrance you can see stairs leading both upstairs and downstairs.
Kenso was impressed by the looks of the ground floor. - "It looks amazing! It's way better than the small house i live in! Won't i have to pay for this?" - He asked.
"Worry not! The academy covers all the bills!" - Ratel calmed Kenso.
As they were talking the door opened.
Kasaya walked in.
"Oh, Ratel and Kenso. Is Kenso moving in?" - She asked Ratel.
"He is. I'm currently guiding him around here." - Ratel replied with a smile.
"That's nice of you. I'll be going to my room now." - Kasaya said as she was going upstairs.
Ratel continued to guide Kenso around the house. They went upstairs. Upstairs was nothing but plants in the corners and twelve doors. Ten of them led to personal rooms, and two of them were toilets. There were five rooms occupied. Three rooms with their balconies on the front of the house (from left looking from outside - Ezark, Kasaya, Ratel, Empty) , one room with it's balcony on the right side of the house (from left looking from outside - Aria, Empty) and the only room at the rear of the house (Tarin). Each door had a sign saying the name of the room's owner. Some doors had decorations.
As Kenso was looking around Ratel asked - "So, which room do you want to choose?"
"I'll take the one next to you and Aria." - Kenso answered.
"Okay, then. It's yours now!" - Ratel stated.
I Will add blueprints explaining the placement of the rooms and the building itself. I made the explaining kind of a mess so take that as an apology. I will link it here in the Author's thoughts in no longer than 6 hours. Probably.
