A refreshing start
Nathan was very tired it wasn't the physical fatigue but the mental strain of his time in his new adopted world. First finding himself in a Forest then attacked by heartlessness. Of course, that wasn't enough he then fought his nobody in a death battle barely winning. Then finally almost getting what amounted to a fluffy parasite attached to him. Nathan found his way to the union housing and was told by the now disguised wrath what room was his and opened the door for him. He then collapsed on the bed and slept.
-------------- Several hours later ------------
Nathan woke up in his new bed from a much-needed nap. He got up washed his clothes in the sink and took a shower for what felt like hours to him. After he got out hot dressed and gave his new room a good once over. There was one dresser next to his bed and a bathroom which he just got out of. Altogether it was a small room but enough to get through his day-to-day lives without having a life outside.
" not bad, hey Wrath you there."
Although Nathan has been up for a while he had yet to notice his newest companion to be anywhere in sight.
" ya yea, yea I'm here what do you want."
With a Poof the now red-eyed chirithys formally known as Wrath showed up.
" are you just going to stay like that from now on because I really am getting Tired of fighting solo."
" God no, you couldn't pay me enough to stay in this form. It's because I have to when I'm in these buildings if I show up in my heartless form. Then after a while, I will have this place swarming with people trying to kill me and extension you. For you know harboring a heartless."
" Fair enough, but you said that you hade access to the dream eater database whats is that exactly?"
Nathan was just to tiered Yesterday and didn't give it much thought. But now with a refreshed mind he realized the importance of information and wanted to get as much as possible before he went out next to hunt in earnest.
" For that, I have good news and bad news. which one do you want first?"
" Best hit the ground with the cushion give me the bad news first."
" well, there is no archive orlibrary with a bunch of Keyblade techniques or really any helpful advice for fighting anywhere regardless of what union you joined. There's no difference between the unions except what emblem you wear and most welders don't actually wear it on there person. It's just something they verbally say to each other so ya sorry to burst your bubble."
" WHAT !!!!! "
Nathan was incredibly surprised by this newest revelation. He picked wrath up and started to shake him violently like a rage doll that was to wet.
(Authors note: don't shake things kids it does nothing to help)
" WHAT DO YOU MAEN?!!!!!!"
" we...ll yo.....u st...op."
Wrath could hardly finish a word with all the incessant shaking.
" fin "
Nathan put wrath down where he was and took a few minutes to calm down. Wrath looked to Nathan calming down and proceeded to threaten him, after all, it wasn't like he was some ragdoll be thrown around whenever it's owner didn't feel good.
As far as he's concerned they were equal partners and he'll be damned if he would be treated that way ever again. The Only reason he didn't morph back to his fighting form and claw is eyes out. was that he knew the minute he did that would be the minute both of them would be screwed permanently with every keyblade wielder after them. And it was only the thanks to this little bit of rationality that he didn't straight up slash his face.
"Brat you try anything like that again and screw the consequences I'll take us both down."
Nathan took a deep breath and looked wrath in his eye." You're right I'm sorry I was kinda banking on some Techniques for me to learn at the union. Literally, the only thing that has gone According to plan was getting a keyblade and I think I busted all my luck on that."
" well that's life and there ain't no Walgreens around here so suck it up or your just another dead man walking."
Nathan could only let out a sigh of defeat.
" Ok ok, what's the good news then."
" That I think you'll be slightly more happy about. Now that I have access to the dream eater database we can now get you a bank account and I've checked the newsfeed and roomer mill that the other chirithys are talking about and it Appears that your little bathroom incident is no longer a priority it doesn't look like there's actually been any one looking for you anymore either so you're free to show the world that ugly mug of yours."
If wrath hade a face that could convey emotion it would show him having the creepiest grin on his face right now just looking at Nathan waiting for him to react.
" wait what bank account."
" that's what you react to? What is wrong with you."
"I figured that incident wasn't a big deal when I walk to the door and no one can wake me up to arrest me. it's not that hard to figure out. Now the bank account please can you explain that."
" you know sometimes you're no fun but I digress chirithys have the ability to extract lux or what is deter known as light from defeated enemies. And since I consumed one I now have that ability to and I can upload it into the database to give you your ranking in the union and it can also be used as a bank for buying all sorts of thing. Think of it as sort of a cash allowance. the more lux you get the more equipment and metals you can buy."
" you said enemies does that mean heartless and people?"
" yes, normally the chirithys would simply ignore the lux that was gathered from the killing other people not giving credit to the one that actually did it. That way it acts as a Deterrent from every one slaughter each other. They would, however, gather it nonetheless. But since I'm the one gathering it and reporting to the database about what comes from where. You have the option of still taking credit for it regardless of who or what you tack down."
" can you just say that you've collected a lot and give me the credit for kills I didn't even get?"
" ow, you mean to cheat. Not in this or any lifetime besides This system that they have set up requires me to give them the lux before it recognizes the count. The only thing I really have control over is what to give you credit for and what not to give you credit for."
" Do you have access to any techniques I can use you said there's a database. There has to be something I can do."
" Nope afraid not if there is its higher then my rank clears me to have. If you want access to higher files we're gonna to have to find a dream eater that has higher Clarence if there even is one and I'm gonna have to eat them. Great now I want some more Cotton candy thanks a lot."
" well pardon me is there anything else that I should know."
" Not that I can think of. but normally there's the foreteller of the respective union would show up and congratulate the newest recruits but apparently yesterday the master went missing and no one can find him so they're in meetings all day Formalizing the rolls each Union would have. But it was agreed upon that they would have competitions between each union as a way to encourage fighting the heartless. With no seat rolls for the members. So you pretty much have free reign."
Nathan falls onto his bad and started to think to himself.
"So it started has it the back-cover movie had the events play out any ware from 6 to 12 months. Plenty of time to gain strength and level up even if it a Shortest time till everything goes to hell in a handbasket."
For the rest to the day, he simply thought threw every scrap of Lor every cut scene and every record he could remember to try to get the best idea of where to be and what to do In order to survive the trail this world was destined to go through.

Martiner So i know that the time line of 6- to 12 months my A little weird but the back cover movie only says months later mean anywhere between two on the short end and I figured six on the long end because it would make more sense to say happy year later if it was more than six months but this is my best guess and it works for the story that I’m writing
