"Fred…" A voice called out within the abandoned convalescence, the realm in the highest Layer within Alina City. "Did you feel it?"

An aged man was looking into the distance with a nostalgic expression on his face.

On his left side, the crazy scientist who had long vowed to revive his wife was standing next to him by the window, albeit located a step back and in a rare respectful stance. He was also staring outside, at the day sky that was bleeding into nightfall, and he didn't answer when his name was called. 

'Sofony vanished?' His mind was on this matter. 

"I've long been wondering one thing to myself…" A soft sigh rang from the old director, followed by a statement that had hints of sorrow and self-mockery. "Life is really full of irony and lies…."
