"Yes, I am Grandpa Cheng." She answered respectfully. "I am from another world where magic exists."
Li Wei knows that this old man won't spill a thing. Why would he create a barrier to conceal their voices? Anyways, even if someone knows. No one will believe them. If they want my confirmation, I can always that his a liar.
As if expecting that answer, Old Man Cheng didn't reply.
"Grandpa Chen, I already answered what you wanted to know. I'm going now."
"Wait. Become my disciple."
Hearing what he said, Li Wei turns around to stare at him and shakes her head, indicating that she is rejecting him.
Old Man Cheng wasn't surprised that the little girl rejected him. After all, she doesn't know who he is. However, he wanted to know, why?
"Why?"
"I already have a master."
Old Man Cheng's shoulder droops down. No wonder. But he doesn't want to give up. If his master weren't as good as him then he'll teach that master of hers.
"Who is your master?"
Li Wei did not reply for a minute. She was contemplating if she should tell him or not. But then, she has already decided and she told him the name of her master. Even if Old Man Cheng wanted to find his master he won't be able to succeed. Her master is after all...ascended the heavens.
"Hong Li."
Old Man Cheng was flabbergasted and before he could react. Li Wei had already disappeared since the barrier was already brought down.
She returns to her room. Open the book of immortality and cultivate. Before that, she sends her two servants to guard outside the room as to not disturb her if someone wanted to see her.
And when she finally opens her eyes, enlightenment is glimmering in them. She has become an immortal. Feeling her stomach empty she stands up and open the door to find 6 people hovering outside. All of them seemed to look like they wanted to enter the room but hesitant.
"What's up?" She voices out and the rest looked at her. Liu Qing looks awkward while Liu Xu looked flustered and the rest looks so worried. Qi Shuang steps forward and looked at her.
"We were worried."
Her brows crunch up together. Confuse. Why are they worried?
"I just cultivated for half a day. Why are you worried?"
"It's not half a day, young miss. You've been there for one month. We cannot open the door, its as if some force is stopping us to enter." Exp[ain Meimei. They've been working together to open the door, they even called the two Liu siblings for help. However, they weren't able to open the door.
Li Wei looked at them with slightly wide eyes. One month? Did I cultivate for one month? I only close my eyes for a minute, then boom, it's already one month.
Li Wei stared blankly on the distance and her voice landed for Meimei, "I'm okay. Meimei, grab me some meal please." She then looked at Liu Xu and Liu Qing.
"Weiwei, master wants to talk to you." Liu Xu said and Liu Qing nodded.
"If he wanted me to become his disciple, I'll politely decline. I already have a master."
"No, it isn't that." Liu Qing replied. "It must be important. You should meet him."
"Fine." Li Wei steps forward and looks up to Liu Qing. "Lead the way."

Hmm? Enlightenment, huh? Another immortal has born? Who could it be? Did Hong Li gain a disciple? Impossible. That guy is dead. Is he?
Ku Zu has cultivated a lot of immortals for the past 250 years to prepare for the war.
A 1000-year-old man looked at the sky and slowly muttered, "Hong Li, I hope you're not dead. And I hope this is your disciple. The traitor has joined the powerful. The world has begun to turn into chaos, Hong Li."
The second war will begin soon. And this time, it includes the races all around the world.
"You called for me?" Li Wei asked and sat down. Chu Lin and Mu Yang already knows the identity of this person and bowed at him in respect.
Old Man Cheng blink his eyes when he saw Li Wei. He cannot believe what he is seeing. She had the aura of an immortal.
He hastily stands up from his seat and incredulously watch her.
"You've become an immortal?"
If Old Man Cheng wasn't occupied thinking about Hong Li and about the things his friend says to him in the past, he would have notice what's happening around him.
