Chapter 27: Who is She?
Daniel and I got to work at the usual times with David and James. We were greeted by multiple people.
Suddenly, there was a huge uproar. But we didn't know what was happening.
Daniel was curious so he asked us to check it out.
The new girl who visited, was apparently Elaine. She's the L-Group Corporation CEO's daughter. Her father is a well-known CEO in all parts of China. He wanted to do business with us.
Elaine saw us and greeted us kindly.
"Good Morning, Mr. Cheng and Mrs. Crystal. I am Elaine from L-Group Corporation. It's a pleasure to meet with you all." said Elaine.
Suddenly she went to David's side and she greeted him with a smile.
"Hi David, from the first time I saw you on TV, I really liked you. Can you go out with me?"
She got quite a strong gut. Crystal giggled.
James chuckled as he nudged David as if he's telling David to get the girl.
David was speechless because it's a first for him that a girl confessed to him. I nudged David too and he looked to me as if he's pleading for my help. I whispered to him, "Go and say something! Go!" David stuttered, "I...I... barely know you. Let's get.. get.. to know each other first. Okay?" Elaine excitedly agreed and hugged David out of the blue.
Wow, Elaine must've really liked David.
Elaine winked at me and said, "Let's be work BFFs!"
I said sure. It's been a long time since I have a work buddy to talk to besides Shan Shan, David and James. Speaking of James, he's pretty suitable for Shan Shan since he is single and good looking too. I suddenly thought of a perfect idea. We three girls can be work BFFs together and gossip all days. I felt so proud of myself. Why haven't I thought about this long time ago?
Daniel asked me why am I laughing and I told him I just thought of something funny.
Really though, it's an awesome idea.
