Chapter 74: Uninvited guest
The next morning, Kaylee woke up first. She looked down and saw Christopher lying fast asleep with his head on her chest. His right arm was tightly wrapped around her waist. She smiled and caressed his hair.
She stayed like that for almost an hour before trying to wake him up. She patted his cheek. "Hey." The right part of her body is starting to numb.
When Christopher didn't move, she tried again. "Hey Top, can you wake up for a bit?"
Christopher stayed still, he just moved his hand and held Kaylee's hand.
"Can you move? I'm starting to feel numb."
When he heard her say that, he automatically lifted his head and looked at her. "I'm sorry." He said as he sat on the bed.
He held her face and leaned over to kiss her. "Good morning."
"Good morning-- AHH"
Christopher was about to touch her arm but Kaylee started to scream. "DON'T! DON'T TOUCH ME!"
Christopher blinked. He doesn't know whether to laugh or to cry.
After a minute, Kaylee started to feel at ease.
Christopher looked at her. "You okay?"
She looked at him and nodded. "I'm sorry is just that—"
Christopher placed his index finger on her lips. "I know."

Living room.
Liam and Charlotte looked at each other when they heard Kaylee scream.
At the same time, the woman in front of them subconsciously stood up and looked straight to where the screams came from.
When Charlotte sensed it she looked at her and raised her eyebrow. "From the look of it, you seem like you were about to rush toward them."
Liam looked at Charlotte and told her not to say anything.
Charlotte rolled her eyes.
The woman fakes her cough. "For how long do I need to wait? I need to talk to President Jarvis."
Liam smiled at her apologetically. "I'm sorry to make you wait, I'm going to get him now."
The woman nodded. "Thank you."
Her long white silver hair was tucked behind her ears. She's wearing a silver dress that matches her eyes.
She gently sat down on the couch and waited patiently.
On the other hand, Liam was about to knock when Christopher opened the door.
Christopher looked at him. "Why?"
"You have a guest."
Christopher frown. "A guest? No one knew about this place."
Liam gave him a look and said he should check it himself.
Christopher nodded and was about to go when Liam stopped him. "Wait?"
"What?"
"You're going there like that?"
Christopher ignored him and went to the living room.
Charlotte stood up when she saw her brother approaching them. Her eyes widen. "Onii-chan, what the heck!?"
When the woman saw Christopher, she was taken aback. She blinked and then after a few seconds, she looked away.
"Miss Vermillion?"
She coughed. "Yes, President Jarvis. I think you should wear your clothes first before anything else," she said without looking at him.
Christopher looked at Liam. "Why didn't you tell me?"
Liam shrugged.
Christopher is only wearing his shorts, he was actually topless. He returned to their room to get a shirt and then returned to the living room.
"Can I ask how Miss Vermillion knew about this place?" Christopher asked gently.
