Chapter 5: Signed Contract
Kaylee was still holding her breath while looking at the man in front of her. 'Should I say I don't want to do it?' The man looked at her. When she realized that the man was looking back at her, she gulped.
"Are you okay?" The man asked, she subconsciously nodded.
The man then looked at the contract in his hand and placed it on the table as he continued to discuss the contract.
"The second party shall act as a Personal Assistant of the first party in public." He looked at Kaylee as he continued to read the conditions one after another.
"Any incident with both parties during the effectiveness of the contract must not be said to others, even when the time the contract ends... The second party shall be the first party's bed partner as long as the contract is effective." After he read the three conditions he rested his back on the couch as he looked intensely at Kaylee.
"That means you need to act as my Personal Assistant together with Liam in public, it's okay to drop the act when there's only the two of us or even in front of Liam. You don't need to worry about my schedules and meetings. It's Liam's job." He paused, took a deep breath, and continued "You're my bed partner. And your job is to have sex with me."
Kaylee's heartbeat sped up. 'H-have sex with him?' Christopher looked at her calmly, observing her reaction. "Are we clear?"
When Kaylee nodded, the man's delicate lips curved upward.
"About condition number two, everything you saw or heard, we've done, and need to do, you must not tell it to anyone." The man looked at her seriously. "You don't need to be afraid, because we're not that someone you think we are. I am not that cold-hearted as the rumor says."
Kaylee was shocked. 'What does he mean?'
"What do you mean?"
The man once again moved forward and leaned his elbow to his knees as his eyes met Kaylee's. "You'll know after you sign the contract."
Kaylee blinked twice and looked away. 'His eyes. They're beautiful.'
The man once again looked at the contract.
"The second party shall not have an intimate relationship with the opposite sex, except for the first party... The contract shall be terminated if any of the parties is found to have an intimate relationship with the opposite sex, except each other."
Christopher stood up, turning his back to Kaylee. "Since you don't have a boyfriend and you're still a virgin, I guess we don't have any problem with that." He looked back to face her as he continued, "As long as we have our contract, you're not allowed to go out with anyone. I am a selfish person. I don't share what's mine. Meaning, I don't want to share you with others." The man sighed as he handed a small device to Kaylee. "I'll be in my room. Press that when you made up your mind."

It was already 8 pm when Kaylee pressed the button. She looked at the pen the man handed her and then looked at the man in front of her. He was calm and his gaze was gentle. She has a mixed feeling inside her. Her hand is shaking while holding the pen. She was about to sign the contract. After she signed the contract, she no longer belongs to herself.
"Having a second thought?" The man in front of her asked.
Liam was also there. Kaylee gulped as she shook her head, but her hand kept on shaking.
Christopher looked at her worriedly. He's worried about the possibility that Kaylee may leave and not accept the job. However, rather than letting it show he put on a brave front. He wanted her. "You can take as much time as you want, it's not that I'm forcing you to accept this job."
Hearing that, Kaylee tightened her grip on the pen. "I'll do it." Christopher smiled and After a short while, the contract was signed.
Liam handed a card key to Christopher and excused himself.
"Follow me." Kaylee then followed Christopher, and without her knowing they were now in front of the last door on the top floor of JCrysal Hotel.
"That one is Liam's." He said as he pointed to the door near the elevator. "That was mine." then he pointed to the center door and looked at Kaylee. "This will be yours." He said as he swiped the card key to unlock the door.
"Remember what I am going to tell you. There are CCTVs outside. Don't worry these three units on the top floor don't have CCTV inside." He paused. "Only outside, when you enter your unit, you must exit your unit. When you enter mine, you must exit there too"
Kaylee frowned. "What do you mean?"
Christopher looked at her. "You'll know later."
Christopher discusses from this to that and from there to here. He slid open the door from the right. When she entered inside, she was stunned. It was a bedroom. The design was so simple, there's a bathroom inside and the room is big.
"This is our room."
Kaylee froze. "Huh?"
The man smiled and went across the room as he slid open the secret door. Now that she thought about it. Unless you're not familiar with it, when both doors are closed, you'll not be able to find the exit. Kaylee followed Christopher, and she was stunned that her unit and Christopher's unit were connected to their bedroom. Which means, they need to sleep together.
