Chapter 246: His Return
"I have to say it, I fucking love you Hermione."
"Yeah yeah, I know."
"No, I'm serious. I actually love you."
"Yes, I know. Just hurry up and eat, Arth."
Arth nodded before proceeding to devour the last turkey leg on the plate.
Harry and Ron watched this scene with interest.
"Why does this remind me of. . . . A mother hen feeding Her chick?" Harry asked.
Ron shrugged.
"Something must be wrong with your eyes Harry. All I see is a loving wife and her husband."
Harry frowned before stiffening up. ". . . . Isn't Arth with Scarlett though?"
". . . . Oh."
Ron and Harry watched the warm scene with terrified eyes.
". . . . Wanna place bets on who lives or dies?"
"10 Galleons on Scarth."
"F U Harry. You do know that I don't have that much money right?"
"If you lose, you have to do whatever I tell you to do."
". . . . Oh well, your loss. I can almost taste my ten Golden coins."
"You haven't won yet."
"Who gave Arth his beloved turkey legs?"
". . . . I believe that their love is stronger than a dish."
"Why did they choose the turkey legs over Scarlett as a hostage?"
"Oh shit . . . . Is it too late to cancel the bet?"
"Nope."
After Arth finished with his last meal, he stood up and let out a happy sigh.
"I haven't felt that refreshed since the second task."
"You haven't had turkey since the second task."
"Makes sense then I guess. So, what did I miss?"
Hermione gave a small grin.
"Nothing really. You are still doing well in the classes. Corvus is fine. Scarlett and Fleur tried to kill each other a couple times. You have a fan club-"
"How in the world is that little?" Said Arth with an incredulous look.
"Was I out of it for a year or something?"
Rob shrugged.
"Fleur and Scarlett has already attempted murder so many times that we are all numb to it at this point. The fanfclub apparently existed for a long time, we just didn't know about it."
"Wow."
"Yeah, I guess you could say a lot of things happened. Oh right, the third task is about to commence soon."
"When?"
"Next week."
"That's not a lot of time. . ."
Hermione glanced at the clock before letting out a yelp.
"Oh my! Look at the time! We should really get back to the dormitories."
The four of them headed back to the common rooms after saying thank you to the very excited house elves who tried to hand them an assortment of sweets.
"Thanks a lot!" Arth said to the elves, who had all clustered around the door to say good night. "See you, Dobby!"
"See ya Dobby!"
"Harry Potter . . . . Mister Arthur. . . . Thank you for saving Dobby as well."
