Chapter 5: Chapter 4 - Areum
Yeri's POV
I quickly went to class after I brought Jungkook to the Nurse's office. I greeted the teacher. "Ah. Class, we have a new student. Please introduce yourself." Annyeonghaseyo. My name is Lee Yeri. Please take care of me."
The teacher nodded."Okay, please take a seat, Miss Lee."
After a few hours....
Ringgg!!!!
Finally! It's lunch. I followed the mob of students towards the cafeteria. Once I got my lunch tray, I looked for a place to sit. I found an empty table put my tray there. As I stood up to get some banana milk, I was shoved to the ground.
"Ouch...."
I looked up and saw the three girls who bullied Jeongguk this morning. "Hello again. We're gonna show you what happens when you mess with us." As they got ready to beat me up, someone pushed them away. "Leave Yeri alone!"
It was Jeongguk. The leader smirked at him. "How are you going to make me?" I had stood up at this time too and I said, "I know how to defend myself you know, 'Miss Don't Mess With Us.'
Jeongguk smiled too." So do I. Areum, I think it's better for you to leave us alone before you get a taste of your own medicine."
At this point, the Areum girl and the twins looked absolutely terrified. They tried to disguise it but failed miserably. "Yah! Whatever Let's go girls."
Once they left, Jeongguk smiled at me and started to walk away. "Hey, wait! Do you want to eat with me?" He turned around and looked at me with a shocked expression. He then smiled and said, "Sure."
He went to get his tray and he sat next to me. "Hey, about this morning... t-thanks for helping me." I smiled at him. "It's no problem. Are you okay now?"
He needs nodded cutely. Now that I looked at him properly, he was cute. He big doe-like eyes, cute bunny teeth and dark brown hair. His voice snapped me out of daydream. "Yeri, how old are you?"
"Oh, I'm 17 years old. How about you?" He replied, "I'm 16. Which means your... my noona." He mumbled out the last part of his sentence. I was curious about what he said so I asked him what he said.
He looked really flushed and shy right now. I had never seen him this shy before. "Um... Can I call you noona?" His red face made him look so cute! I smiled and nodded my head. "Sure." He looked up at me. "Really?" I nodded.
"Yay!" he cheered excitedly. He looked like a little kid now. I giggled at his childish behaviour.
Ringgg!!!!
"Oh, lunch is over. I'll see you later, Jeongguk-ah~" He nodded and waved goodbye to me.
