Chapter 33: Pure Energy
Aos emerged from the darkness and found herself still in a meditative position. Doubting what she had just seen and felt quickly searched her body for the new energy that had entered her body. In mere moments Aos found the pure energy and noticed how the well's growth had also taken place.
Aos attempted to think back to the what happened at the end of the stint in the eerie darkness. Although she could recall most of the events she found it rather hard to remember the very end. When she did, all she could recall were two sets of instructions. The first instruction showing her how to siphon the pure energy from nature rather than the nature energy she had previously practiced on. The second instruction showed Aos how to circulate the pure energy around her body, in order to further temper the bones, muscles, and organs.
Aos quickly began meditating with the new found method. The pure energy being both more plentiful and flowing, rapidly flowed into Aos. The old man who had made his way to the wooden cave sense a foreign energy outside. Thinking that the energy came from a foreign being quickly rushed his way outside and towards the energy.
The old man finding only Aos outside and her meditating on an energy he had never seen before waited patiently for her to finish her meditation. He waited for hours, then days, then weeks. On the twelfth week after Aos began her meditation with foreign energy, she finally broke out of her trance.
Aos having not noticed the passage of time and found it odd that the old man had appeared before her. She slowly rose from her meditative position and found it rather odd that all her limbs ached. The old man noticing that Aos was having a rather hard time standing up, made his way and supported her while she found her footing.
Aos confused at why she was finding it so hard to move, heard an answer from the old man, "Take it slowly Aos, you've been meditating for twelve weeks."
