It's been a few hours since I've left for Luna and I start to see Lunas on the horizon. With the sun beaming down straight on me and sweat dripping down my back I can't wait to make it to the town and take a nice shower. I keep getting the sense that I'm being watched or followed. Maybe it was those group of people that I saw earlier in town.
"I really got to pick up the pace."
Within a few minutes, a loud sound roar is heard. I quickly stop in my track and crouch down.
"Crap that sounded like a Reptilio. Argh, they're not that strong but still a pain."
Slowly I take out my sword from my sheath and put my shield on the ready. Crunching sounds surround me with a gurgling growl. I can feel warm breath kicking up from the ground up. The creature must be sniffing for me. Slowly I reach out for a rock next to me and grab it. I throw it far away from me and with it the Reptilio roars and quickly runs towards it. Swiftly and quietly I chased after it and get as close to it as I can. With only a few feet between me and the creature, I dash for it and jump on top of it. With my sword up in the air I thrust with vigor into the top right part of the head. Blood gushes out from the wound as it thrashes around screaming. The force of it thrashing throws me off it and I roll onto the floor. With only my shield in hand warily I look at the creature as it dashes towards. My legs push me out of the way and then quickly towards the monster. As I jump once again towards my sword I shove my shield into the eye of the Reptilio and quickly grab my sword. It roars in pain with blood gushing out of its eye. This is getting tiring I need to end this. Dashing once again towards I slide under the beast and I slice the belly I then roll over to the side as the monster collapses on the floor with its guts and blood staining the grassy field red.
Damn that was more than I expected."
As I walk towards my shield I stare at the Reptilio with a tinge of sadness. I get on my knees and pray over it.
"Bless mother Gaia as you go back to the stream of life. You were not of ill but of instinct. Amen."
I pick up my shield and continue my walk towards Lunas. Slowly I drag my body towards the town as it gets ever closer. Trying to push myself keep thinking of the hot bath that will be able to take.
After a few minutes, I made it to Lunas and I collapse on the floor. As my consciousness starts to fade I hear a familiar clanking sound of armor walking towards me.
