Chapter 1: Prologue
Lyra once thought monsters only appeared at night.Not anymore.
It was a typical weekend, her cousin and Lyra are having a small picnic,just to get away from the vast and busy city. They spread out the mat and brought some homemade cookies in a basket.Lyra's cousin is just one year younger than her, however , they are still best friends nonetheless.they should be happy, yet there's a sense of tension in the air. Lyra tensed ,a sense of foreboding washed over her.
The bushes rustled, a hooded shadow appeared, knife gleaming with blood.
"Watch Out!" But it's too late ,her cousin crumpled, and she fell to the floor ,Lyra screamed and fled...
