Chapter 13: Hiro Nigashi
A beautiful marble stairway curled around the wall coming to a wide end with a elegant glass and cherry wood table sitting right in the middle of the foyer. The butter yellow walls perfectly matched the white marble with hints of gold through out and to top it off a stunning picture of Himeko was the first thing you see when you walked in. She was younger, smiling like there wasn't a worry in the word while running through a field of wild flowers. It was very romantic and dreamy, the type of picture you see on a book's cover.
I'm not sure how long I stood staring at the picture. I was amazed. This was all mine???
"Ahem."
Someone cleared their throat and I almost jumped out of my skin. I had totally forgot about the other people behind me.
"Right this way Himeko."
Mr. French directed me to a sitting room to my left.
"If you don't mind taking a seat the master will see you when he is done concluding some business. It won't be but a moment."
I glanced up when he said master. Since he calls me young miss the master should be my father???
"M-my father?"
Mr.French who was walking out the door pauses, turns around and says,
"No, your husband. Hiro Nagashi."
