Chapter 12: Touch down
After boarding the plane and changing into "acceptable" clothes we ate some food. I wanted to ask about Elijah so bad, but something told me not to mention him. I don't know why, but this French guy gave off some bad vibes. I don't want to risk my son's safety with whatever this is. Some how I dozed off. I didn't wake back up until we were descending.
"Good, you're awake. Go freshen up. We wouldn't want you to make a bad impression. It has been five years after all."
After getting off the plane I am ushered into a limo. We drive for about 30 minutes. We pull up to a huge wrought iron gate, the driver pushes a button and a face appears on the screen beside the button. The driver and the man exchange words. The gate opens and we drive down a long and winding driveway lined in trees. After about five minutes the road widens and the trees fade away. A beautiful mansion stands before me. Outside of the doors are what looks like maids lined up. It reminds me of something out of an anime show. The car pulls to a stop, Mr. French gets out and extends his hand.
"Welcome home, young miss."
