Chapter 96: VII Celestial Fate

After obtaining his Alliance ID, Elijah had to wait a few minutes before Rilde walked towards him, "Let's go."

They passed several small islands before reaching the main hall, where tens of thousands of people were gathered in several rows and, one by one, they would walk to a table with several figures in black robes, show their identity, after 10 minutes, enter one of the six passages in front of them that would lead to one of the six regions or sectors.

Rilde turned his head and said to Elijah, "Before the talents of other worlds are allowed to join one of the six regions, they must first have an ID like the one you just got and then talk to one of the Oracles of Silence, the figures in black robes."

"The Oracles of Silence is one of the three main factions in the A region. They will decide which region the outsiders go, but what they judge is not your talent but the future potential or the strength of your fate. The stronger your fate, the faster your cultivation will increase and the higher your luck without the interference of talent. Like some people born to mortal without talent but then they would fall in a pit and find the inheritance of a powerful immortal or an artifact that belonged to one of the main gods that would change their destiny. Fate is divided into several levels and grades, Mortal Fate, Beyond Mortal Fate and Celestial Fate. The ones with mortal fate has nearly 0% of chance of becoming an Celestial, the one with a beyond mortal fate has 50% and the celestial fate represents 99% of chance of becoming an celestial. But this kind of evaluation is only used in worlds that is part of the Mortal Alliance. Other worlds that is dominated by gods do not spread this because what the gods most fear is if several mortals reach the celestial realms."

"Then what's the strength of your Fate?" Elijah couldn't help but to ask out of curiosity.

"I'm a low-grade Beyond Mortal Fate." Rilde said in a low voice. As Elijah and Rilde conversed, a group of people walked over. The one leading was a youth with the same purple scales as Rilde and held a trace of an dark aura emanating from him.

As Elijah and Rilde talked, a group of people approached. The leader was a man with the same purple scales as Rilde and held a trace of a dark aura emanating from him.

The man laughed before saying, with a mocking tone, "Well, is not this the super talented assistant Rilde of the Register Division? I never thought about meeting someone so honored in such a place! I though you were amazing when our clan send you to work on this docking station because your fate was the weakest in our family in more than two thousand years."

"Shut up Rolgan, speak only when you have anything worth saying. Otherwise, get lost. I don't have the time to waste on you." Rilde said with a cold look.

Sensing the enmity between the two, Elijah observed the youth called Rolgan. This man, who has dozens of people following behind him, should have an high position on this world. "Master, what is his strength?"

In his mind, Elijah heard Shadow's voice: "Boy, don't mess with him. He is a at the peak of the Beyond Mortal realm, just one step from becoming an immortal. And from the twenty people following him, two of them are Mortal Kings and the rest is all in the Mortal Will. Of course even if he becomes an immortal, he will be much weaker than the statues on the Prime King Palace, but is still something you don't need to worry for now."

Rolgan laughed and tried to tap Rilde's shoulder, but Rilde dodged his hand. Seeing the way Rilde was acting, Rolgan retracted his arms as he chuckled, "We have not seen each other since that day and you are treating me like this? Okay then, I'm going back to the region, you can continue your work on this Docking Station."

Then he turned and walked over to the 'A' gate looking to the people gathered in several rows with disdain together with his followers as they disappeared.

After seeing Rolgan walking away, Elijah asked Rilde in a low voice, "So just who is this guy?"

"It's a long story, the two of us are from the same clan and our fathers are fighting over the position of First Elder, do not think about him, he just like to mock me because I was not what my clan expected from me and he and his people are using this to attack my father. You do not need to be bothered about them, since they will not be able to do anything to you. " Rilde explained to Elijah.

While they chat, it was Elijah's turn to see his fate. Walking to the closest table, a figure in back clothes looked at Elijah approaching figure with interest.

Elijah showed his ID and after checking if it was not fake ID, the figure in black robes took thirty cards and placed them head down on the table and an gentle voice echoed in his ears.

"Take three cards." Elijah extended his hand and picked three cards. When he turned the cards he saw that the three cards were blank but with a few moments, a image formed in the first card. The image that formed on the face of the card was of thirteen white stars aligned in the shape of a tower.

"Thirteen white stars aligned in the shape of a tower. Its a bit uncommon but it can be considered as a Beyond Mortal Fate. There is still two more cards to see." Seeing the first card, the figure in black robes was impressed with the number of stars, but his surprise was subdued when he saw this stars were white, the figure was disappointed as this card was not what he though to be. But this oracle would definitely become crazy if he knew there was a million more stars than he could see.

Few more seconds later, the image on the second card was visible, this time it showed the figure of man climbing the steps of a stair made of skulls and bones with a river of blood bellow him.

If the first card made him impressed, then the second made him intrigued and a bit afraid. "This second card shows that your rise will be build at the cost of numerous sacrifices and deaths as you rise to the top. With this, you can be considered to have a high-grade Beyond Mortal Fate with low chances of becoming a celestial. "

When the figure in black robes finished deciphering the second card. The image on the third was already formed but the third one was different from the other two, it was not an image but a video this one was of two different lines, one white and one grey, colliding and shattering, forming a third, golden line.

This time the figure turned his gaze from Elijah to the third card and then he looked to Elijah. Without knowing what to say. "Mister... I don't know how to say this but, your third card is saying your future is the result of a collision between two different realities that formed a third one. I don't even know how to grade this or if this card is something good or not. Let's say the final result was a low-grade Celestial Fate and send you to the B region, okay?" Just as he said this he left the three cards on Elijah's hand as he gathering his things and ran towards the portals as he thought to himself. 'I need to contact boss the fastest I can, I need to report that I found someone with a Celestial Monarch Fate.'

"Elijah! How it was your test!?"

Elijah was curious about why the figure was acting like this but he decided to leave his curiosity aside and walked back to Rilde who calling him with his two gigantic arms that Elijah haven't realized that he had such huge arms until now.
