Chapter 1: Prologue
I met Zac at bandcamp. I was friends with Jojo who was friends with Tommy who was friends with Zac. All of us were going through freshman orientation week to get us familiar with what all the upper classman were already perfect at.
I was fairly new to the whole district. I'd moved down here to live with my dad after Christmas of 8th grade and now I was a new kid.
I originally never noticed Zac. I knew his oldest brother Will or 'Big Harbour' as everybody called him. He was tall, very tan, and had short black hair that he always wore the same way. He was fairly strong looking, smart, and was drum major. However, he was a senior.
After our camp was over, the upper classman came to get ready for our marching show and I noticed Colten, 'Medium Harbour'. He was also tall, muscular, tan, and played trumpet. He was a sophomore making him my age because I would turn 16 in the second month of school as a freshman. (I'm not dumb I was held back because of my birthday and a failed attempt at homeschooling.)
I then found out that Zac or 'Little Harbour' was a freshman with me. He isnt as tall as his brothers but is still a good 4-5 inches taller than me, tan, short brown hair, and very skinny. He plays trumpet and also enjiys reading.
At lunch I'd eat with Jojo, Kierstun, Tommy, Zac, and Jack.(Kierstun is another one of Jojo's friends and Jack is Kierstun's crush.) We all became one little group of band friends. School started up and I was eating lunch with Jojo and Jack but I was really fond of the other kids at that table so I finally moved over to Zac and Tommy's table. They sat with Jon (trumpet....not too fond of him but oh well), Shaila (Trumpet), and Jenna (Trumpet).
At my old school I had more guy friends than girl ones. in fact the first 5 friends I ever had were guys. It wasn't till 4th grade that I made a female friend. So I was common for me to mess with a guy or sit near one. That was normal for me. Guys never 'Liked' me though because I wasn't pretty or really flirty or the best at anything. I enjoy reading and running. Most of the time the only reason someone else would talk to me was to know what I got for question #9..... I was smart. I played volleyball and ran track but again wasn't the best at either.
Because of this I was used to having guy friends..... not boyfriends. My younger sister Addison, had a 'boyfriend' in 3rd grade through 5th grade then they broke up and she 'dated' several guys after that until she decided to just do her own thing and be single for 8th grade. My younger brother has already had his first kiss and he's in 4th grade!!!
I guess I'm just the ugly duck of the family.

Faith09 I've never wrote a book before and was really sure how so I decided to use myself as the main character. Everything you've read so far is true. Once I get into the story some I'll begin to entwine some fictional things in with my story so it doesn't get boring.
