"What falls is this?" Drake asked while his eyes were fixated on the falls. It was held captive by the nature's wonder right before their eyes, one of the famous waterfalls in Seogwipo.
"Cheonjiyeon falls," she answered, looking at the emerald's pond where the waterfalls falls.
"Cheon.ji.yeon," he repeated.
Drake picked up his phone and started to take pictures of the falls in every angle possible. He didn't even care if people looked at him like some crazy person.
"Frustrated photographer?" Lucy said under her breath.
"Lucy, come here," Drake was energetic to invite.
"I'm fine here," she coldly rejected.
Drake came to her and held her hand. "Come on," he dragged her to where he was previously.
"Just stay here," he commanded and left her and started to take pictures of her with the waterfalls as the background.
She felt a sudden irritation. No one ever dared commanding her what she doesn't want to do.
"Smile," he instructed.
"I don't want to look at your camera," she grumbled and turned around. Drake only laughed at her sullen act.
He positioned his camera phone to take some pictures of her, but he was stopped as a cold breeze blown her hair in the air. He was remembered with what he took many years ago, when he was studying at the Massachusett.
It was like a replica, but with different clothes.
Lucy turned to look at him and put her hair behind her ear. 'Is he done?'...said on her mind. He was just making an awkward pose, unsure if he was still even taking pictures.
She's done with his idiot act and walked away from the falls.
"Let's go to Jeongbang waterfalls now," she dictated and walked past him.
"O---kay," Drake answered, and put the phone back to his pocket.
Lucy came near to Secretary Song. She got no idea why on earth William Lee let his personal secretary be their driver.
"Anything you want, young miss?" he was startled. Lucy's presence was more than her father's coldness before.
She stopped as she was near and faced him.
"I don't know what's gotten into my father's head to have you as our driver. He is letting his secretary be with us, not on its own boss," she walked. "But then, I'm sensing my grandfather's orders from you. Am I right?" she intimidately raised an eyebrow.
"Y-You're sensing too much, young miss..."
"Really? Then, turn off that dashboard camera that is filming us inside the car. I don't want to be televised all the way to my grandfather's room."
"T-T-That's---"
"Are we clear?" she interrupted, her voice became sterner.
"Y-Yes, young miss. I'll take it off right now," he said and dashed away.
After Cheonjiyeon Falls, they headed next to Jeongbang Waterfalls. But before they arrived, Drake spotted a crystal blue ocean and cliffs. He asked if they could stop for a while. He didn't want to miss a chance of taking photos of a wonderful scenery.
While Drake was busy taking photos, Lucy sat on a cliff and let her legs dropped down on a cliff and enjoyed watching the emerald sea below her feet.
"There are more phytoplanktons here," she muttered, looking down on the sea. Her hair was being blown by the winter wind.
She heard the sound of a numerous shots then, Drake sat beside her. With the perfect chance, he instantly changed the camera into selfie mode and took some shots of him with Lucy.
"What're you doing?"
Drake smiled goofily at her. "Nothing,"
They arrived in Jeongbang Falls and as they walked closer to it, they couldn't help but be mesmerized by the majestic falls. The waterfalls is 75-feet high and was split into two paths. It's the only waterfall in Asia that falls directly into the ocean.
Drake was especially in heaven as he took pictures even as they're walking closer to it.
"Be careful, sir Drake. The ground isn't even," Secretary Song reminded.
"Yup, I will."
He was trotting one stone to another. He looked so playful like a child. If he would slipped and bumped his ass on the rock, they won't wonder. It only showed that it was his first time in Jeju-do that his energy couldn't hide. Ever since day one as what Lucy could see.
Unlike in Cheonjiyeon Falls, people could get closer towards the Jeongbang falls and be splashed by its cold and fresh water.
"Don't come closer with your phone or it'll get wet," Lucy cautioned as he tried to walk forward. He's not caring with his phone nor his self at all. He's a free-spirited man.
"Then, can you come closer to the waterfalls so I could take a picture of you?" He gave her a cute look with a smile. Lucy raised her eyebrows in confusion. He didn't need to do that. He only gave her goosebumps.
But she did what he asked anyway, she didn't want to be commanded again by him.
As she come closer, water splashed over her and the sound of the falls hitting below became louder and louder.
Since she didn't want her face to be frozen, she decided not to turn around and just looked at the ocean.
"Another," Drake said, raising one finger as an indication. But she walked out. It was getting colder behind her and she could not just sacrifice her body for a damn picture. "Why?"
"You said 'a picture' which only means one picture. Am I right, Mr. Park?"
He frowned. Lucy always have her ways to make him frown or surprise. But he didn't want to give up, so as soon as Lucy was near her, he put his arm around her shoulder and took a continuous selfie shots. He was satisfied by then.
"Persistent," she narrowed her eyes. He just gave him a contented smile.
She elbowed her on the stomach. Drake loose grip on his phone but fastly enough, with great reflexes, Lucy caught the phone. She gave it to Drake but she lost her balance due to the wet rocks. She landed on Drake's chest and her arms were hugging him.
"Are you okay?" Drake was concerned.
She looked up and met his eyes. Drake saw a droplet of water on her hair and wiped it off right away and laughed a bit.
Lucy just stared at his face.
He then, looked down and met her coal-black eyes. He just realized how close they are to each other. He felt a sudden embarrassment. He blinked a million times, his breathing stopped, and it felt like their surroundings became quiet. He couldn't hear the buzzing sound of the falls as he looked only at her.
But the nice momentum was gone when she poked him on the forehead.
"Stupid," And she let go from accidentally hugging him and walked away.
Drake, on the other hand, became like an ice. An ice where its cheeks were red.
"It only takes a second to be held captive by some tantalizing eyes..."
