Latisha took a deep breath to calm herself down. She couldn't let herself stoop so low to Daeva's level. "I can't let her provoke me and have a grip on me" she thought innerly and lifted her chin up high, giving Daeva a 'try me bitch look'. "How does it feel to have a dog run around you? I hope you feed him enough bones or else he'll go looking through the trash. Oops I forgot, you are also trash too", Latisha said, stifling a smile on her red painted lips.
"Don't go too far, little wench, I can destroy your guts with a snap of my fingers, do you believe I care about you just because my cousin cares about you?" I…..
"Lay a finger on her and trust me, you shall spend your whole school year at the boot camp, I hope you didn't forget what you said to grandmother this morning Daeva", Aurielle interrupted her, walking out of the cabin. She washed her hands and smoothed out her purple floral dress which was a little bit rumpled thanks to Lucien, and opened her hair which was previously tied into a ponytail, which flowed down her back and adding a seductive charm to her face.
"Let's go Latisha, we shouldn't waste our time with unworthy people", Aurielle looked at her best friend and smiled at her.
"Oh my you are right, lessons are starting soon, we should get going, maybe someone is waiting for her dog to come pick her up", Latisha answered her, throwing a sideways glance at Daeva.
"I promise to make the both of you suffer this, Davea hissed at the both of them as she watched them leave.
Aurielle and Latisha walked into the classroom, whereas most students had arrived already. They both walked to their seats and Aurielle desperately fought with her inner demon not to take a look at Lucien who was sitting in the fourth row but she did and received a twinkle from him which simply made her blush. The images about sitting on top of him and touching him at that spot haunted her immensely. She had never had such close body contact with any male, she wasn't sure if every guy felt like that but it was big, "Aurielle what are you thinking about?" she slapped her forehead, pulling herself back to reality.
"Are you alright?" Latisha asked her, surprised to see her so distracted in class.
"Yes I am, no worries, just some flies were trying to get into my brain", she said, waving her hand in the air.
"Flies? But I don't see any, it seems like you didn't rest properly last night. Maybe you should go home."
"I'll be fine, Latisha no worries," Aurielle looked at the teacher who was explaining the process of recognising the actual account to be registered when preparing a balance sheet for the annual report of a company. She pulled herself together and made her notes for the classes.
The economics class was over at 10 in the morning, the students had an hour break to have their breakfast before heading to the sports lessons. All pre-college classes were joined together during the sport lessons to strengthen the relationships between them. All the girls changed into their sports attire, consisting of a red pair of trousers and a white shirt with a phoenix emblem on it. The boys had a similar attire, whereas their trousers were blue in color. Aurielle and Latisha walked into the sports hall with Nisa, a girl from the 2D, who was a close friend of theirs, only to see Daeva who had skipped morning class gumming her body close to Lucien. Aurielle stood at the spot for a while and stared at them for a minute, "and I thought he would be different, she scoffed at her stupidity in trying to believe his words."
An unknown anger burned inside her, as she glared at Lucien who felt her gaze on him when he looked in her direction. "Oh shit, I am so dead" he jumped up from the seat pushing Daeva onto the floor. She fell disgracefully onto her bottom as she stared at him in shock.
Lucien ignored her and ran towards Aurielle, who was already at her own spot.
"Rielle, I can explain, there is nothing going on between the two of us. Believe me, we are just old acquaintances," he hurriedly explained with begging eyes.
However Aurielle ignored his explanations and went on stretching for training. She moved away from him and began talking to Nisa and Latisha who looked at Lucien with pity." Seems like he messed up this time, I was actually rooting for him however he had to mix himself up with that devil," Latisha sighed while speaking to Nisa in a whisper.
"What do you mean? Isn't that the male god who I saw at the registration? He is in your class? Oh my God, I am so jealous, I was hoping he would come to my class. Wait a second, what were you just saying, he is interested in our goddess? No way!"
"Yes he is, he has been bugging her since yesterday and even claimed he knew her before the incident happened. I saw them in a really spicy position this morning, she even touched his thing down there."
"Huuuuu, no way she did that. She would never touch anyone down there," Nisa exclaimed excitingly to Latisha. "Tell me more, why did you keep such things to yourself, I promise to buy you spicy chicken after class."
"Well I heard him whispering to her about her seducing him by touching him and he even called her baby," Latisha giggled to Nisa whose eyes were wide open in anticipation.
"You guys should talk a bit less loudly, I can hear everything you are saying, don't act as if I am deaf," Aurielle stared at both of them angrily, ruining their moment of excitement.
That while Lucien stood at the side thinking of explaining the situation to Aurielle, who wasn't having any of his stories."what do I do now? She is gonna hate me, she has always been territorial."
Lorena noticed her brother standing at one spot in confusion, "he claims he loves her but he is clueless about making her happy, what a dumb ass brother. Such a disgrace to our family," she harrumphed to herself, making her ways towards them.
"Aurielle can I speak to you for a moment? It won't take long, she smiled at her, leading her to a secluded space."I am sorry about how Lucien is acting but he only means good. He truly has real feelings for you and the girl you saw him with earlier on, was his ex girlfriend. They only dated for 3 days, he ended the relationship because she was basically acting cheap. She looks so similar to you and he couldn't get over the fact that he wouldn't see you anymore so he searched for a replacement to make him forget you. However she was only the opposite, she drank too much, smoked too much and he often saw her with a lot of guys. She isn't anywhere like you, please give him a chance.
"I can't give him a chance, he has been tainted by my cousin and I hate sharing things with her," Aurielle replied, looking quite unhappy.
"No, he hasn't been tainted, he never touched her, all he did was hold her…. Wait what did you just say? She is your cousin? You mean your real cousin? No way, what kind of coincidence, gracious heavens, no wonder you both have the same hair color," Lorena covered her mouth in surprise, unable to digest what she had just heard.
" So you can let your brother know where his boundaries are, he should keep off my lane," Aurielle turned around and left Lorena standing still somewhat in shock.
Realizing what catastrophe her brother was going to face, she dashed to Lucien passing by Aurielle, who was equally surprised by her speed."They are definitely twins," she thought to herself. She didn't understand why she felt this way or why she was even annoyed at him; they had just met yesterday, although he claimed they were old acquaintances. The moment she saw Daeva holding him, it felt like her favorite candy was taken away from her. "He is not your favorite candy, get your head straight, what are you thinking about?"
Lorena ran up to her brother and looked at him with pity; "you are some dead meat, aren't you? Do you know who that little actress is? She is Aurielle's cousin!!!! You freaking dated her cousin and it seems like their relationship is the worst. With that look on her face, she is probably gonna make you suffer. Little brother, I'll pray for you, May the light and peace of our White's family ancestors protect and lead you. You are definitely the king of self-punishment. Good luck," she waved him running towards Alice and Mia who were her new found friends.
Lucien stood on the spot with a frown on his face, he couldn't grasp why life had to be so difficult on him. The biggest mistake he had made in his life was to lose Aurielle seven years ago he believed, but now, he had topped it up. Daeva was a pain, he had met on a summer night at a party. The way she stood there with her back facing him and the gorgeous blond hair flowing down her thin striped backless dress which accentuated her curves. Excitement coursed through his veins at the mere thought of seeing that face. At last I have found you, Rielle," he thought delightedly, "you will no longer escape my clutches. He strode towards the beauty standing before him, grabbed her arms and turned her around without bothering to apologize. But the excitement and joy on his face was quickly eclipsed by disappointment when he saw green eyes, instead of red staring at him in amusement. Regret came over him again as he watched Daeva and wondered how a human could be so much like her. It seemed unreal when he looked at her, her face, he thought to himself, their faces are different. "I'm sorry I was rude, I mistook you for someone else," he apologized sincerely.
Daeva licked her lips, stunned by the perfection she saw before her. Dressed in black trousers and a well-fitting long-sleeved shirt that exposed his cleavage for admiration, Lucien outshone all the male figures at this party. "It's alright, who are you looking for, if you don't mind me asking? Is it your girlfriend?" she asked him with a glint of hope in her eyes.
"No, an old friend of mine, if you'll excuse me, my sister is waiting for me," he replied, ready to take his leave.
"Um, wait a moment please, I'm Daeva, nice to meet you, do you mind if I join you for the evening? I was invited by someone else and she doesn't seem to be here," she lied, pushing the gentleman standing next to her away and folding her arms in Lucien's arms.
"Sure, you can stay with my sister, she needs a companion," he felt a slight discomfort but couldn't bring himself to push her away.
