Snow sat there quietly waiting for something to happen.
It's her third night out there, and it has been nothing but exciting. Snow already saved a couple of people, and had already earned the name of, 'the black vigilante' or just, 'the viligante', either way, Snow has a reputation to uphold.
Snow can feel the breeze enter her black hoody, her hair hangs loosely at her sides.
The hoody makes part of the bodice of the outfit, the length of sleeves touches Snow's hand while it hangs loosely at her sides
Snow made sure that the skirt wasn't too long so that she could easily move.
Snow is sitting in a crouched position on a rooftop building as it is easier to spot things. She thinks back to where she first appeared to a man trying to abuse a girl, she smiled at the thought, he thought she was a demonic creature.
People can really think of absurd things if karma is upon them.
While Snow was waiting, she got out a piece of paper that she saw in the newspaper. It read:
"Hereo or Foe? That is what everybody wonders, with her black hoody and soundless black boots, she saves everyone who is in danger. We don't know much about her, or where she comes from, but what we do know is, she's already got a name, vigilante.
She first appeared two nights ago, and it looks like she's going strong.
Should we welcome her with open arms, who is this girl, and who will she save next?"
Snow read it a hundred times over, smiling every time. There was a sudden crash nearby, making Snow's smile falter. She made her way to where she heard the crash, there she saw round-a-bout six men breaking into a store.
Snow jumped off the building where she stood on, coming to the entrance of the store.
Seeing the shadow of someone behind them, the thiefs quickly turned around. They wore masks so someone couldn't recognize them.
One of them came forward, his arms was covered in tattoos, "what are you doin' here vigilante, we ant got no place for the likes of you." Some of the others laughed, thinking he was real funny.
Snow of course didn't say a word, she wasn't bothered at the fact that they were mocking her. With the hoody on her head, she kept her head slightly down, but she can still see clearly.
Some of them made more jokes, forgetting about why they are there in the first place.
"You look pretty good with that short skirt and light socks," one of them commented making Snow roll her eyes, they are really the definition of idiots, she thought to herself.
"Lets see who is under this hoody," one who snuck up from behind tried to pull of the hoody and reveal Snow's face, but unfortunately for him, Snow knew he was behind her, and before he could even touch her, Snow spun around, grabbed him by the collar and threw him into one of the shop's racks in front of them.
He groaned before sitting upright, Snow could hear him curse under his breath, but she didn't bother to hear what he had to say.
Out of the corner of the room there came a chuckle, "well, what did you expect would happen? You can't go revealing faces that aren't meant to be revealed," the voice said, before stepping into the light, he too wore a mask, but his bright blue eyes shone clearly through the darkness.
It looked like he was the leader of this idiotic group, but at least he doesn't look as clueless as the others, Snow noticed.
"Did you get everything we came for?" the same voice asked the others, in a calm tone, to which they all nodded, "well, are you going to wait for her to catch you?" he deadpanned, before all of them scrambled to get the things they stole.
"I wouldn't do that if I were you," Snow spoke for the first time, "oh yeah, well, what are you going to do about it?" the man with the tattoos asked, he really has a big mouth, Snow thought, time to shut him up.
Snow slowly took out her sword, taking her time doing so. She gave it a swing or two, before it came resting in her hand at her side.
Then one of them roared and everyone came charging at Snow, all except one. He was still standing in the corner unfazed of what is happening in front of him, and by the time Snow had knocked every one of them out, he was gone.
Typical, Snow thought, the leaders are always so full of them self, leaving the others behind so that they could get away.
The guardian core troops arrived minutes after, finding them tied up, but Snow is nowhere to be seen.
She sat on a nearby building, watching the scene in front of her. Snow sighed inwardly, the guardian core is always so late, but then, where would all the fun be if they arrived on time.
Soon after Snow took off in the direction of the palace, not seeing a guy move into the shadows.
He was watching the whole thing, he knew who the vigilante was, he had to keep an eye on her for a while, just like his master told him too.
