Chapter 2: New friends

As I walked into the cafeteria I saw a lot of people that I didnt notice before. I went and got a slice of pepperoni pizza and a soda and went to find Kayla's table. I looked around and saw her table in the middle and walked over to it. I sat next to Jay and saw everyone at the table staring at me. Kayla then began speaking, "Hey everyone this is Leah. She's my friend and I invited her to sit with us." Another girl started speaking. "Welcome Leah. Im Alayla. We really don't talk to new people, but we like you." The girl had brown hair and makeup. She had on a black fitted dress with black and silver heels. She is pretty and looks like she always gets what she wants. She then started talking to a boy beside her who, as I think, is her boyfriend. He was cute. Smoldering eyes. Narrow eyebrows. Pouted mouth with beautiful cheek bones. I then asked her, "Why don't you all usually talk to new people ?" She looked at me and said, "Because we don't like new people. We just stick to ourselves and each other." I nodded slowly then everyone continued to their business. Jay looked at me and said "Tell me about yourself." "What do you want to know ?" I asked. He asked me questions about myself that I answered. Then he asked, "Have you ever been in love ?" I looked at him then looked down at the table and said "uhhh no. I haven't. No one really caught my eye and I didn't care for love". He looked at me and smirked. He said "You're beautiful. Who wouldn't want you ?" I looked in his eyes and he was looking in mine. Then the bell rang for next period.
