Chapter 1: Day 1 in the neurosurgery department
Kim Yeon Jo walked proudly to the HanKuk University Hospital. She managed to get her residency in this hospital and this is her first day to start her 5-year residency in this hospital. She determines to get into Neurosurgeon specialisation as in her first day at Hankuk University Hospital, she met with her prince charming, Dr Lee Jong Suk. He is handsome, rich, self-confident, talented, righteous, determined and kindhearted. As Yeon Jo saw it with her eyes, He helped the patient without any money to get the correct treatment until they got discharged. she became his number one fans started on that day.
"Yeon Jo, are you starting today?" Dr Park Soo Bong, her senior and childhood friend. He is a timid, stingy but loyal friend of Yeon Jo. "Yes, Oppa Soo Bong. are you starting your shift? Will Dr Lee attend the welcome ceremonies today?" Yeon Joo asked him with so many questions. They didn't realise that Dr Lee Jong Suk overheard her question from behind of them while waiting for the lift. "Why do you want to know?" Jong Suk asked them with his curiosity. Yeon Jo and Soo Bong looked behind and bowed to him straight away. "I am sorry Professor Lee. We don't mean to become noisy," Soo Bong told him. "Is she your girlfriend Soo Bong? she is pretty," Jong Suk said while sipping his ice americano and holding his workbag in another hand. "No, Sir. She is my junior and my friend I knew from my house complex. we grew up together as her father teaches us a lot about work as a neurosurgeon," Soo Bong said to him. "Don't say your father is Director Kim, the famous neurosurgeon from our hospital." Jong Suk asked her. She nod agreed with his theory about her father as a famous neurosurgeon. But the reason she joins into neurosurgeon department is not her father but the guy standing in front of him. "Let's go. the lift is here. I never know the old Kim have a beautiful daughter," Jong Suk tease her and make her face blushes red.
They parted when they arrived on the 6th floor. this whole floor dedicated to the neurosurgeon department. this hospital is getting a good publication from the hand of Professor Lee Jong Suk and Professor Kim Min Soo, Yeon Joo father. This whole floor got special attention from the board of director as Hankuk Hospital got special fund from Government as International standard hospital in South Korea. Soo Bong bring Yeon Joo to meet up with other new resident doctors, who are waiting in the doctor staff room. There was three other new doctor on the team who join in the residency. Soo Bong took her bag and kept it into his locker. It won't take long until Professor Lee and other doctors come into the staff room. there is a senior doctor come in with his domineering aura into the room. "Welcome to our neurosurgeon department. You might still energetic and think as an ideal place to play doctor. As Wilder Penfield said The brain is the organ of destiny. It holds within its humming mechanism secrets that will determine the future of the human race. So treasure your hand and your eyes coordination as it is your weapon in the war," Dr Moon Hyung Wook said in his welcome speech. He was going to continue before Jong Suk stopped him and said something. " I will take one lucky resident for my team and the rest will be following and learn from Dr Moon. Dr Kim Yeon Joo is the lucky new member of my team. Soo Bong will tell you the routine. Welcome to the the team, " Jong-suk told them and leave while drinking his Ice Americano.
