Chapter 5: Her interview
Her uncle told her that they are coming on the same day of interview. She was very upset and wants to talk to someone so she called her friend Pooja and told her the whole story.
Her friend said to her " Anika, you are worrying about that which is not important. This is a normal thing and this will happen again and again but their coming to your house to see you doesn't means that they are definitely ready for marriage. This is life Anika and you can't cry on small matter like this. You leave this matter to your parents and God. Everything will be fine Anika."
" But I don't like that boy even he was that ugly that I don't want to see his pic again. How can I marry her,Pooja. I don't feel even 0% attraction towards him how can I spend my life with him."
"Don't worry baby . Be positive."
" What will I do if they say yes for me. I would not marry him...definitely.I am telling you I will not marry him."
"You are thinking over about this . Nothing will going to happen this.Now be good. Ok bye. And call me when they gone."

On the day of her interview , she was very calm. She reached in college on time and her interview goes well. They said that they will tell the result within two- three days. When she came home her father already sit there and talking with her uncle.
Her father said to her "they are coming in some time and the boy's father, his sister coming."
"Ok Papa g"
At home her anty, elder cousin brother also there. When they came ,the boy's sister came upstairs room where Anika and her anty was. Anika bring tea for her and she said her to sit with her. Anika sit there with her anty.
She said to Anika "What is your qualification."
"MSc Chemistry."
"Are you preparing for any exam."
"Yeah. I'm preparing for National Eligibility Test."
"Are you not preparing for HTET or CTET."
" No"
"Why"
"Because I have not completed my Bachelor degree of education."
"Ok"
"Do you know how to do domestic work."
"Yes"
"How much you know about doing work of house like making food, dusting, cleaning, mopping etc."
" I know these very well."
" Do you know how to milking cows."
"No,I have never done this before."
"Do you know how to work in fields because we are farmers and you have to work in field also."
"No, I don't know. "
Her anty said " our children never go in field before. And she is single girl of our family so how can we allow her to work in field."
"Anty ji, if she will not do any job than she have to work with family."
She asked Anika again " how long you are."
"5'3"
" you are not look of 5'3. You are short than this."
"You can measure "
"No,it's all right.Do you know something about my brother."
"No."
"Did your father not tell you about him ".
"Not much."
"Ok, my brother is high school pass out and currently ,he is working a government job in Delhi Court."
"Ok"
When she was talking with Anika her father was talking with Anika's father and uncle. He came upstairs with Anika's father to talk with her.
He said to Anika "look Beta,You have to milking our cows."
Her anty said "but she did not know how to milking."
"She can learn. How hard is it . But she have to do it . She have to go in field to cut grass for animals with my wife. There are some work for which she can not say No. if you still want to marry in our family you can say yes. But think carefully before answering."
After that Anika's father said " we are not going to marry our daughter in your family because your son have low education and his job is also a peon. We can't marry our daughter in your family so , sorry."
Anika was very happy after listening this from her father. She was free now without any tension.Her whole family saying a single thing that Anika has never done this kind of work before even our sons did not do this kind of work so, how can she do this. They can find someone else. They need an educated girl with job , with doing domestic work as well as doing farming. Why don't they find a uneducated girl for all this work. Have they seen their son. He is neither handsome, nor educated and have no manners of speaking. We can't marry our girl in that family and this is our final dicision.
