LOGAN:
'Beep beep beep' the annoying alarm woke me up.
I yawned and scratched my back as I walked to the bathroom went for a shower. After warm and long shower, I brushed my teeth and got ready. I wore my red hoodie with black jeans and white shoes. I brushed my hair and hanged my bag on my both shoulders and made my way downstairs, grabbed an apple and went outside.I expected to meet Liam on my way but things are not always as expected. I kept waiting for Liam to come from behind and grab my shoulders as he always does as I walked by but there wasn't a sign of him. weird. I reached college and made my way to the hallway, I looked for Liam but couldn't find a single sign anywhere so I messaged him
'Where are you?'
'At home, sick.' He replied.
'Shit. Really? How?'
'It's not that serious but I'll not come today.'
'Get well soon man.'
'(:'
I sighed as I closed my phone.
I don't want to be alone; in fact I have never been alone here without Liam. Now who is going to get me out of awkward situations? It's the first time he'll not come here. He's never been absent. I
wonder what happened with him about the result.
I made my way to the classroom and went at the back where I usually sit.
The Bell rung and I saw lifeless bodies making their way in the class as they walk to their places. After a while Miss Melanie came and started with her usual boring lectures. The time crawled and it was almost the time for our break so we started to gather our stuff and so did Miss Melanie.
"I'll be coming in the last period for the test." She announced.
"The test?" The whole class frowned.
"Yes, well it wasn't intended but while teaching you all I can see are dead bodies staring blankly at me, its kinda scary sometimes." She chuckled. "Anyway, to see how much of the information is stored in that brain of yours, I want to take a test and the marks will be included in the assignment I provided. So better be prepared. She continued and left the classroom with a smirk on her face as
everyone sighed in unison.
The bell rung and we all made our way out.
I was walking out of the class when I heard someone yelling my name from behind. I turned around and saw Sophia.
She was panting hard which made me remember the first time I saw her and I exhaled and smiled as I remembered.
"Logan, I need your help, it's about the test in our last period there are some topics I didn't understand. So if you have time?" she said all this under one breath. She kind of looked cute so I bit my lips hard trying not to smile.
I couldn't say no to her so I just nodded.
There was a garden nearby so we decided to go there and study.
Sophia pointed out a tree and told me that we should sit there in fresh air.
So we made our way there.
"Look! Daisy!" She said with enthusiasm pointing at a flower startling me.
There was a flower lying on the ground where we were suppose to sit.
She picked it up and was examining it. Totally mesmerized by it like one is by their favorite person.
However, I wasn't looking at the flower; I was looking at her because I was captured by her beauty. She is just like a daisy, simple yet elegant. She looked so flawless smiling at the flower and it made me smile. She is so beautiful that even after looking at her for hours I wouldn't get tired at all.
"I love daisies!" She turned to me pulling me out of my thoughts.
I quickly erased my thoughts and shook my head throwing the thoughts I just had far far away
"What's your favorite flower?" She asked.
"I don't... really pay attention... to flowers." I replied.
She frowned.
"Come on sit down." I added.
She put the flower beside her and sat down.
And I took out my stuff avoiding eye contact. She took out her stuff as well. And I started explaining her the topics she asked for.
SOPHIA:
When we settled down I was once again looking at that beautiful daisy. I love daisies so much that I get mesmerized by them, every time.
Then when I removed my gaze from the flower to Logan, I saw him staring at me once again, I mean I did notice him when I first saw that flower but I ignored it. I quickly put the flower on the ground and cleared my throat looking at the sky.
He quickly removed his eyes from me and took out some books from his bag.
"What do you want to know?" He asked me.
"Chapter no 6." I replied thinking if this really was the chapter I wanted to understand.
He cleared his throat and started to explain me that chapter. I was really listening to him alertly because all I want right now is to pass the test.
We both were so busy studying that we didn't even get to eat anything and the bell rung.
When the bell rang Logan looked at me and said, "the bell rung."
"I know." I replied.
"No, I mean we didn't eat anything." He said
"So what?" I asked.
"We need energy to pass the test you know, and I can't focus on anything when I am hungry." He said pouting which made me chuckle.
"It's okay." I laughed.
"We'll eat after the test." I added.
"Lets go." He said picking up his bag and standing up.
He lends me his hand and I held it to get up.
We walked to the class and I was seriously praying all our way for the test because I'm really not prepared for it and I looked from the corner of my eye that Logan chuckled a little, looking at me. He's cute.
When we finally reached the class he went back as usual and I sat in the front. When I saw him in the back his face was so relaxed. He looked so relaxed like he knew everything what was coming in the test while I was worrying whether I'll be even pass the test or not.
Then I suddenly remembered I've got some time because the test is in 15 minutes so I took out my book and started going through it. No teacher came in so the whole class was studying for the test. Time passed and Miss Melanie showed up bringing butterflies into my stomach and they started to run here and there making me more nervous. I again looked back at Logan and he gave me his thumbs up. I forced a smile and looked in front.
Without even a word Miss Melanie told a boy to pass the papers as she proceeded writing the questions on the board.
Looking at the first question made me think, ' when did we do this?' She added a few 'multiple choice questions. How much thoughts did she put into this? I thought as I read the questions written.
so I checked my luck with the question number 1 by randomly ticking the options.
Let's hope for the best!
I knew the 2nd and the 3rd one so I ticked them correctly and then again I was stuck in the 4th question.
I looked at Logan to see if he's facing any problem but he was so busy doing his paper. Miss Melanie caught me and cleared her throat looking at me. I couldn't do anything but to smile helplessly. I just
finished my first paper and moved on the second one.
'Give reasons for the following statements.'
It says.
I sighed and continued my paper.
Time passed by and just 2 minutes before the bell rang I was done with my paper. I didn't even care to check my paper so I quickly handed to Miss Melanie. The bell rung and I grabbed my stuff and made my way out.
"How was the paper?" Logan asked me coming from behind.
"God will help me." I replied.
"Were your concepts clear?" He asked looking concerned.
"Yes. They were." I smiled, I think they were.
We walked quietly out of the building.
"Are you hungry?" He asked out of nowhere.
I didn't want to lie "Umm... kind of."
"Let's go eat something." He looked at me.
"The treat's on me." He quickly added before I could any anything so I just nodded.
Then we went to have lunch.
