Regina:
There must be a reason that some people avoid clubbing, especially in Vegas. Um... Mine was simple and undramatic. I had a personal theory that club was only a distraction for a humankind, whether it involved dancing for entertainment, but I choose not be the side of bad behavior. Sometimes our jobs did require our attention in the club or places that I never been to and I wouldn't go in without taking a sip of wine. Crime scenes were indeed frightening in real life than in movies. It could be nightmares if there were a bloodshed and stories that couldn't be a moral lesson for one.
We took a taxi to have a tour of the wonderful city. Since it was a spring break, and the school had been closed for a week or so, I encountered this place ever so crowded. It was nearly a hell if you weren't a fan of living with a crowd that could be irritating most of the time.
The street was illuminated with lights and videos on the flat screen attached to the tallest buildings gave extra amusement to the street. I was especially very delightful to see the dancing water, where at the end it almost touched the rooftop of Bellagio hotel & casino.
"That's amazing," I said. And looked up at Scott for further compliments. Well, he didn't even give a shit. He was snoring like a pig after a few minutes of the ride. Ride with a pig never stopped surprising me.
We arrived at this fancy hotel downtown. I couldn't recognize the name since it had Italian pronounce. But I figured it would be really fancy inside. There were a street dance and the concert. As work kept me busy at all times, and my adoptive parents were very protective of me during my high school years, I never had the opportunity to go to an actual concert. So, I grabbed the chance as it came to me with no cost. You wouldn't believe me how excited I was to see a live concert and that of a famous country's singer.
"We should go now." He shouted through the loud music.
"Where?" I shouted as our low voice wouldn't be enough to hear each other out.
"To the club." He told me. "It's time." He announced.
I shrugged. "Okay." I had no objection since I was going to have all fun tonight. He asked me to be here. Enjoy my Vegas time as we might not have tomorrow, so I didn't see why I should waste my time crying.
We left the concert and headed south towards the tallest building in the view. He told me, the club was inside the casino and he already has his friends waiting for us at the entrance.
We passed the security guards on the way, and they seemed rather friendly than concerned officers in a duty. They didn't even care that someone might have come with weapons. It was a club for God sake anything was possible.
Scott wasn't lying when he said his friends were waiting for our grand appearance. We met two female and three male friends of his at the entrance to "Runway Club." They greeted us and congratulated us for our faked wedding. I eyed Scott for not telling them an actual truth. But who cared in a moment like this I was actually feeling glad that I joined him in this mission. I was having fun. I was having a full taste of my favorite champagne and cocktail, so I had no regrets and nothing to complain about.
