Chapter 8: Chapter 8: It's Kei
Kasey's POV
"Onii-chan!" i shouted as soon as he get in the car and started to drive.
(Translation: Onii-chan means older brother)
"Huh?, nani?" pa inosente nyang tanong
"hindi mo man lang ako pinatapos magsalita, baka kung ano na lang ang isipin nila tungkol sa atin" reklamo ko kay kuya
"heh?!, bakit naman, ano namang iisipin nila, I think I get it!, nandun ang crush mo no!, tell me sino dun ang crush mo, sino sa anim na yun. Ay mali sa sa apat lang pala, kasi may girlfriend na yung dalawa at yung dalawa ba na yun ay yung dalawang babae na kasama mo?" mapang asar na sambit ni kuya
"kuya naman eh!.oo sila ngang dalawa yun at isa pa kuya wala akong crush okay!, I don't have time for that" I protested, nakakainis din minsan tong si kuya masyadong advance mag isip
"okay wala ka ng crush, by the way, gusto mo bang kumain na muna tayo bago umuwi, nagugutom na kasi ako"
"wag na, sa bahay na lang, I'm sure nandun na si lolo. Teka lang! Alam na ba ni lolo na nandito ka?, saka pano yung trabaho mo?"
Baka kasi tumakas na naman to sa manager nya, di ba nya alam na sikat syang artista, besides paano na lang ang restaurant dun, I know na nandun sila tito, pero.
"I know, iniisip mo na tumakas na naman ako kasi gusto ko lang, pero this time nagkaka-mali ka, kasi. Finally I got a week of vacation from work, nakaka pagod ang sumayaw, umarte at kumanta no, and since I don't have any taping, TV guesting and recording to do, I thought mag kaka-time na ako sa restaurant natin but then tito and tita said that I should take this time to visit you here so that's the story, and for your question na kung alam na ni lolo na nandito ako, maybe yes and maybe not, pero posible na alam na nya, baka nasabi na nila tita kay lolo ang tungkol sa pag bisita ko."he explained as he cut me off from thinking.
Hmm..yun naman pala.
"EH?!"
'Don't tell me he came straight to my school from airport?'
"nani?"
"wala, bilisan mo na lang para maka uwi na tayo, mag aaral pa ako" I said saka ako humalukipkip na lamang at isinandal ang ulo sa back rest ng upuan.
"ha?!, pero weekend naman bukas tapos mag aaral ka pa, kwentuhan mo na lang ako ng mga nangyari sayo dito tapos samahan mo na lang akong mamasyal bukas, Okay!" parang batang pagmamaktol ni kuya
"bahala na" sagot ko as soon as I close my eyes,
Ayoko ng makipagtalo pa kay kuya, isa pa gusto ko ng umuwi para maka pagpahinga nag sisimula na kasi akong makaramdam ng pagod at antok.
Pag dating sa bahay as expected lolo scolded my dear brother for not noticing him about his sudden visit.
The next morning I woke up late because my dearest brother never let me sleep unless he got finish telling me what happen to him for this past 3 months, just when I thought that I can finally go to sleep when when he got finished, my thought of sleeping has gone to a far away land, because he never stop nagging me until I told him the full details of what happened to me for 3 months.
"Ohayou imoto!" he said with all smiles as he enter the dining hall.
(translation: Ohayou Imoto means good morning sister; imoto means sister/younger sister while ohayou means good morning or hello)
"It's already noon oniichan" I corrected him while chewing my bread.
"ah i see, I've overslept,by the way my dearest sister, want to have a date with me?"
"No!" I said as I leave him there.
I was about to start reviewing my notes when my brother entered my room just to drag me out to his car, and then here I am, forced to come along with him.
I know I'm being mean to my brother but what should I do, he's an international celebrity and here he is roaming at the mall and acting like a child without wearing any disguise, didn't he knew how to protect his image at all.
"ano ba naman yan Kasey, buong mag-hapon ka na lang bang sisimangot dyan, nagmumukha ka ng matanda kakasimangot?, here have some ice cream!" my brother said as he almost shoved into my face a cone of strawberry and vanilla flavored ice cream he just brought.
"paano akong hindi magmumukang ganito, eh kuya naman feeling ko tumanda ako ng limang taon dahil sayo!, kanina pa tayo pa ikot-ikot dito sa mall, para kang bata kung kumilos tapos wala ka pang disguise na suot, paano na lang pag nakilala ka ng mga tao, kuya international celebrity slash model ka kaya!, you better protect your image to avoid false issues or rumors, nakalimutan mo na ba ang nangyari dati nung lumabas tayo ng wala kang suot na disguise at saka di mo ba napapansin, pinagtitinginan na tayo ng mga tao, pano kung may isa dyan na nakakakilala sayo, edi na tsismis ka na agad!" litanya ko kay kuya.
"kalma lang okay, sorry na kung pinag alala kita, fine magsusuot na po ako ng disguise, kaya wag ka ng high blood dyan, ganito na lang, nood na lang tayo ng sine." he said with a very wide smile on his face. Take note of my sarcasm.
Then again, he drag me to the cinema.
I know that it was his way of making me smile and heal from all of the pain and wounds in me that I was trying to hide from everyone and I really appreciate his efforts for me.
For the whole Sunday mag kasama lang kami ni kuya sa bahay, wala kaming ibang ginawa kundi ang mag kulitan at ang mag laro ng kung ano anong game na maisipan laruin, we spend the whole weekend together dahil next week babalik na sya sa Japan para mag trabaho ulit kaya sinusulit na namin, tutal na miss ko naman talaga tong kuya kong to eh.
And as Monday came sya ang naghatid sa akin sa school, and as expected from my brother a lot of girls notice him nang bumaba sya sa kotse, buti na lang naka sunglasses sya para kahit papaano hindi sya makilala, he's an artist/model after all.
"give me your bag, ihahatid na kita sa classroom mo" he said with authority in his tone.
"no need, kaya ko naman ng bitbitin tong bag ko at isa pa di na ako bata para may mag bitbit ng gamit ko, unless sobrang bigat na talaga at saka baka may makakilala pa sayo dito, ma-eskandalo ka pa, sige na umuwi ka na.. Shoo~" sagot ko at saka sya tinaboy palayo na parang aso
"EH ang sungit mo naman!?, OK, fine, PERO!, susunduin kita mamaya ha"he said while pouting.
"okay, fine. Ikaw na ang susundo sa akin mamaya, okay, kaya sige na umuwi ka na!, shoo shoo~"
Pagtataboy ko muli sa kanya as I let out a year worth sigh.
Wala rin naman kasing mangyayari kung kokontrahin ko sya, kaya sige na lang, sya na ang magsusundo, after nyang umalis pumasok na ako, buti na lang at di ako late.
"Good morning Kasey!" Cherry said as she jump behind me, which startled me.
"G-good morning" I replied
"tell us, sino yung lalaki na kasama mo sa mall nung Saturday, sya din yung naghatid sayo ngayon at sumundo sayo ng Friday" It's Denise this time. Are they starting to interrogate me?.
"oo nga sino sya, boyfriend mo ba?, ang sweet sweet nyo kasi sa isa't isa eh, lalo ng nung nasa mall kayo" Cherry added, giggling.
So nakita pala nila kami ni kuya, and they misinterpret it!, mukang mahabahabang explanation to!, bakit ba naman kasi lagi na lang kaming napagkakamalang mag boyfriend-girlfriend ni kuya kapag magkasama sa mall o sa kung saan man kami mapapadpad ni kuya.
"Yun ba?.. kuya ko yun" sagot ko.
"Ah!.. Eh?!! Kuya mo?!!" they both said.
I thought they will stop asking questions when they found out that he's my brother, but they didn't, they ask more like; why he's here, is it possible for them to meet him and sort, almost the whole day they ask questions regarding him, di na nga nila pinapansin ang boyfriend nila, and while answering their questions, I noticed that
Nice seems to be in a bad mood, he was frowning the whole day, well that's not new to me coz he was like that everyday but today he seems different and I don't know why, but whenever I look at him my heart beats so fast, and I feel that I'm blushing good thing my classmates didn't notice it, even this two lady in front of me.
"Yoh!" it's my brother, pauwi na nga pala kami.
"Oni-chan!, where's your sun glasses, wear them now!" I questioned him as we reach him
He was at the front gate standing there without sunglasses or any disguise.
"naiwan ko sa bahay eh" palusot nya pa
"Aish, halika ka na nga lang umuwi na tayo, pinagtitinginan ka na ng ibang studyante oh!, pano kung makilala ka, patay tayong dalawa sa manager mo nyan!" sermon ko
"fine, pero di mo man lang ba ako ipapakilala sa mga kasama mo?"
Oo nga pala kasama ko sila Denise at Cherry.
"okay, let me introduce to you my friends, Denise and Cherry" I introduce them as I pointed at each while reciting their name
"Oh!, so they were the one you're talking about, Hi!, I'm Kei, Kasey's older brother, nice to meet you two, and by the way thanks for being kind to her" he said as he shake hands with them, flashing his dashing smile. That smile he use to show at his fans or whenever he was doing the so called fan services.
"Nice to meet you too" they both said, smiling widely and obviously kinikilig sila.
Then after that, umuwi na kami dahil masyado ng nakaka-attract ng atensyon si kuya at baka pagmulan pa to ng chismis sa school.
"by the way sa Lunes babalik na ako sa Japan, kaya naman naisip ko na bakit hindi tayo mag bakasyon this weekend may alam ako na magandang beach resort sa Batangas, tutal naman malapit lang yun dito sa atin, tapos imbitahin mo na rin yung mga kaibigan mo" he said as we entered our living room
"okay, if you say so, sasabihan ko na sila Cherry at Denise" sabi ko bago dumiretso sa kwarto ko, maybe he did a research all day looking for a nearby resort.
" Wait!" he shouted
"bakit?, maka sigaw ka naman kuya"
" Sumimasen, pero bakit silang dalawa lang? When I said mga kaibigan mo, I mean kasama pati ang mga boys" (Sumimasen means Sorry)
"HUH?!" pati sila?, No way!, alam naman ni kuya na I can't stand being with a guy aside from my family members.
" You heard it right" No way..
" okay!, Fine!, sasabihan ko din sila" I just said then left him there. I don't have any say in his decision because when he decided on one thing that would be the final, no one should dare to go against his decision if they don't wanna see his other side, the dark side of him.
I've got no choice but to tell the boys about it, it was his wish after all, after all I can't disobey him.
