Meeting the Mercenaries
Since Seeker Carlean was a Pangean native, it was virtually impossible to move him out of the country. The Underworld Organization known as the Three Dashes had stated that meeting Seeker would only be held within Pangea. Anyone who wanted to rent Seeker had to move into Pangea. Unlike Meryl who was generally unguarded by the military, the complication of moving Seeker was deemed as impossible.
The people who had the money and the connections to sneak them into Pangea naturally all brought their bodyguards.
And these weren't just ordinary bodyguards. People of the Underworld generally had a lifespan of only up to three years. Any organization that managed to remain standing was powerful. More so for hitmen's, assassins and bodyguards. Those who would be able to remain in the business after several years were naturally powerful and in fact, many would try their best to stray away from each other's paths.

Rapture_Tales Next chapter is a long one. And just for the sake of World Building, I had to freakin write a sermonish essay from the mind of Pastor Eagle.
As stated, It will not have any direct connection to the story. i wanted to post this as an auxiliary (not a premium chapter) but learned from the previous auxillary chapters (Lynd and Meryl's essay) that it gives new readers the wrong impression of what this story is about. They think that those chapters are suppose to be read before chapter one and I may have lost a few potential readers from that.
So I have no choice. With that said, I don't want to rip off any paying readers to pay coins for the next chapter. use fast pass as its a long one (Over 3k words!)
As stated on the last chapter, the next chapter is a Sermon and may be extremely boring to some. (Imagine reading an actual sunder sermon!) But within it is Eagle's plan which we will see in soon. It may seem abstract now, and I doubt many could comprehend what Eagle is planning in telling all of this. Only Seeker could comprehend it since he knows the future and not even Arthur may get it but will require some studying to get what Eagle intends.
Perhaps understanding everything in the next chapter may only be revealed near my planned ending of this volume.
