Chapter 143: Perverts and Programmed Slaves
While Piercing Fans were watching an event where Lynd would be performing a one-handed miracle match against several fans, a dark gathering was happening elsewhere.
While anyone with power or prestige were busy preparing or making preparations either on the business side or on the political side of Harker's sudden rise to power, some of the unaffected and perverted groups were slowly traveling in secret to a specific location.
With these events occurring, no one noticed that Seeker Carlean had ended his stream early and was believed to be headed home.
The truth was far from it. As this night was extremely crucial several preparations were made to ensure and fool the world of Seeker's actual location.
Several soldiers who had Seeker's build and height would meet with Seeker on specific points of the city and wear clothes similar to Seeker while Seeker had to change to another set of clothes that matched the soldiers who met up with Seeker.

Good thing that the chapter formats of the scheduled releases were all OK. Hope the Holidays have been fun for you guys so far. New Years coming! And the next post I'll be making is next year. (Which is two days from now.)
How is the new "Fast Pass" working out for you? As for me, it should impact me negatively. Some writers (at the top) only write 1k words per chapter. And so the fast pass thing is more advantageous for them but for me who sometimes reaches 3k- 4k words, it's like unlocking 3 chapter in one pass. Oh, but don't worry. The chapters I write will continue to remain over 2k words as usual. I really can't write anything that would make a great chapter with 1k words.
So fun chapter, huh? Sadly, though this is fiction, some forms of the perversion in this chapter really happens somewhere around the world. We've all heard the rumours of pedophiles in Hollywood and stories of celebrities being sexually harassed to get their roles. Not to mention the mysterious death of Eipstein creating that trending meme of "Eipstein didn't kill himself."
I can only do my part and remind everyone about this reality and that we should be vigilant in eliminating it. Oh, if only I had Seeker's capacity. I'd massacre these perverts en masse.
Of course, in this FICTIONAL work I included some women to show just how degraded morality is on their time. In reality women are not so perverted and are generally not involved in such things. But who knows? Maybe somewhere out there, a famous female personality we all know may be involved in human trafficking.
But enough of that dark and gritty talk.
