The Rail technology of China had far surpassed other countries. The power and speed that China used were simply more powerful and diverse. Railguns became a more preferred weapon of choice as the evolving technologies made it more powerful than post-modern guns.
But the Chinese had mastered the art since their research on magnetic technology had long been kept a secret from the world.
Rail Beam was a cannon fire with a tailing electric path that would continuously control the metal to continuously spin and penetrate through any armor. The added heat and the rough making of the canon made this attack a powerful weapon that could even pierce through Armors if given the right time and aim.
And this powerful and deceptive attack was aimed at Shock.
Shock was shocked at the shocking turn of events.

Rapture_Tales As you noticed, we will soon be entering a battle that exceeds the previous ones. A battle between Overcomers is a fight you'd literally die to see.
For those unaware, the Abomination that Causes Desolation is a Biblical term mentioned in the Book of Daniel and is repeated and confirmed by Jesus in the New Testament.
Meng is also called the Rider of the Pale Horse, which is another Biblical term. The "Horse" appears on the book of Zechariah (an Old Testament book) as a "Chariot" but on the book of Revelation in the NT, a Rider is revealed to be riding this chariot. The Rider appears with three other horsemen and is known even in pop-culture as "The Four Horsemen," the same term used on the Four individuals that Apocalypse recruited in the X-Men: Apocalypse film.
Of course, let us remember, Meng isn't the only Overcomer here. Richie also is. And his titles and standing in Seeker's future have yet to be revealed.
