Chapter 10: Chapter 10: Unexpected Relative
The organization who opposed Bryce's religion immediately destroyed all traces that might lead to them. As a matter in fact it was the leader of that organization that was the most prepared to destroy the organization in any case of trouble. Now, he had the chance to do so. He also took in mind of the darkness so everything was cleanly wiped.

"Father... it's real?" The Pope's daughter kneeled after saying that. Her eyes amazed by the rays of light shining only on the churches of the religion. She felt something she never felt before about this religion for a long time. She... felt ...proud. She felt extremely proud.
She prayed thanks for the her God's miracle.
"Stand up my dear. The Kneeling is now over. We must guide those lambs desperately looking for the light." The Pope said. He knew this would happened. Ordinary people will panic once the world turned dark and the church will be their as their light.
As expected, people came from all directions. Humans, elves, beastmans, even demon kind and other many races that usually wouldn't leave their protected habitats came to the light.
Inside the various churches, the Pope, Archbishops, Bishops, Priests and worshippers told of their great Twilight God and how all of this is in his prophecy. That he will appear after a year and judge the people of this world. How he requested that their religion be destroyed just shows how he's loved from everyone is equal.
If a God of a religion is proven to exist then this world will be managed by him and his religion but by destroying his religion he is not only saying that he will not rule over us but also giving us freedom to live in spite of him being there... or at least that's what most people believe to be the case. The Pope didn't say anything more than what Bryce said but people have big imaginations and that helped them make conclusions that is actually a misunderstanding. Of course the Pope, would not correct this beautiful misunderstanding since his God never said anything about it.
The Pope just seeing more people... no... beings... convert into worshippers of his God was making him feel that his life's purpose had already been achieved. This enlightenment made him glow with both light, darkness and healing elements. The light shines warmly on other beings, the darkness cleanses them of their surface impurities and the healing elements cured them of their physical and mental problems. It was a special one-time offer that the World itself granted to better convince the beings of this world that his child should be respected.

The next day came and the Pope wake up earlier than anyone. Woke up to the sun rising again. The darkness already faded sometime after the night. He opened the window on his room where the front of the cathedral can be shown.
He opened it... then instantly closed it back again. Then he remembered.. 'It's okay. It's natural that there are this many.'
He opened the window again but can't help but sweat when he saw again the hundreds of thousands of monsters of various shapes and sizes sleeping comfortably just all around outside of the cathedral as far as the eye could see. He even saw a human and a lamia sleeping next to each other.
"A miracle of the Twilight God." he said and left it with just that since he didn't really know how that human got even that far to sleep with a lamia who was also surrounded by bigger monsters. How he was not eaten, it is truly a miracle. It was funny to look at actually.
In midday, the monsters, the humans and other races left peacefully, most of them with intelligence converted like the intelligent monsters. They respect the strong and against this being who can make the world dark and gave the feeling he can end them with a thought, their faith towards him reached an astounding amount. Some even acquired the rights to use Bryce's powers. It showed the absolute faith they had on Bryce.
Most of the beings of this world decided to pay the God who "imprisoned the sun, fire, moon and stars" a visit after a year. For now, everyone returned to their own things but one thing changed. Everyone will need to give respect to the ones who can use their God's authority. Whether it is their enemies or someone they need to kill, giving respect is utmost.
The Pope said that "Our god will not bother with "our" matters but beings of this world should respect him and have absolute faith towards him if they want to receive his blessings."
Just like that... Another change in the world happened. Now they only need to wait for a year to finally meet this old and powerful being they acknowledged as their Twilight God.

After a year...
"Yawn~ Is it time already? Can I sleep some more? I couldn't really sleep this deeply since I'm an immortal now so this was really a great nap."
[A year has past host. Everyone is already waiting for you.]
"Yeah, yeah. I'm sure some human crowd isn't that hard to deal with. I saw many videos about Mom and Dad giving speeches. I also know what I'm gonna say. I've memorized it."
With the outfit and appearance in his mind. Bryce requested help from the World.
His white hair changed to black. His sky-blue eyes changed to jet-black eyes. His scarf turned black. He wouldn't being his staff or hit hat. His robe remained white.
"Okay, that's it. Simple, convincing and with the added effects of my robe floating like appearance, everything is done. System, I'm ready to go. Let's get this over quickly."
[May the system asked why a True Immortal like the Host is in a hurry?]
"Oh, didn't I already told you... Well to be exact.. I just want to try being an adventurer. Living the thrill of life. Helping people. Earning money. Making friends. Those cliche stuff. Since I'm immortal I thought that I might live for a really, really, really, REALLY long time, so I decided to live like someone who values their time. I'll just end up like an old bystander immortal if I actually think like I have all the time in the world. That's not fun. Not fun at all. Although my friends would die... it's okay. Everyone does.. maybe even me but that's part of life. Maybe I can even help my friends die with no regrets. Memories are much more important to me since so can remember all of them so I'm gonna make more happy memories than sad ones!"
"Like a saying back on earth, "Time is Gold."
So I'll hurry even as an immortal. I wouldn't want my subjects to keep on waiting. That would be rude. Let's GO!"

"What the f*ck!? Who's this?!" Bryce was clearly confused of who this person is. His fashion sense doesn't make sense. Different colors was in his clothing... her clothing? Bryce didn't even know if that's a girl or a boy.
