Once we arrived at the porch, Alyssa looked down at me and asked, "Ready?" I nodded.
"Y- yeah." The closer her finger was to the doorbell the faster my heart beat. I wanted to make a dash for it.
-----------------------------------------------*Ding - Dong*------------------------------------------------
Dang, too late. My heart was beating so fast it was as if it was about to jump out of my mouth. The door opened.
"Hello?" Tyler said. Then his eyes narrowed as his eyes met mine. He grabbed me by the shoulder and said, "Excuse me." He slammed the door shut.
"Are you trying to get me arrested you brat!" My throat seemed to close up. It was getting hard to breath more or less speak.
"N-no, sir." He raised his hand and slapped me. The pain pierced my cheek, it was unbearable. It felt like a million needles piercing my cheek. I howled in agony.
"I will now answer the door and you won't say a word unless it's directed to you." He scowled.
"U-understood," I replied then raced for the couch as tears poured out my eyes.
"Sorry about that. I hope this brat didn't bother you." Roy glared at him.
"I need to talk to you," Alyssa said with a bitter tone.
"Oh, sure! No problem, come in take a seat." Tyler said. I felt numb, I didn't look at them.
"So... your daughter..."
"My ADOPTIVE daughter." Tyler rudely interrupted.
"Yes. I know. It seems that you dislike her and don't want her." Tyler pretended to be shocked.
"Oh my! No. No. I love this little girl. Rachel is the sweetest." He said. He didn't even say my name correctly. My blood boiled.
"My name is Renne. For god damn sake! No, you don't love me. You despise me. You can't even get my name correct. If you loved me you wouldn't have called me a brat! If you loved me you would feed me enough." I was furious. He could lie to these folks but, not me.
"SHUT UP! YOU ONLY TELL LIES! NO WONDER WHY YOUR PARENTS ABANDONED YOU!" Tyler screamed. I had enough of him already, I've had enough!
"FINE! HOW ABOUT I LEAVE FOREVER THIS TIME? I HATE YOU!" I screeched.
"No!" Roy yelled.
"We'll adopt you if Tyler agrees. If he doesn't agree and you would love to have us adopt you, we'll bring this to court!" Alyssa said sternly.
"Fine! Take her! Take the brat! Leave!" Tyler yelled.
"Seriously?" Alyssa nodded. I ran up the stairs and grabbed my adoptions forms and legal documents and all of my stuff and placed it in my suitcase. I took my bags down the stairs with the help of Roy.
"Thank you so much, Alyssa!" I said as I took my last bag down the stairs.
"You're welcome. Let's go." Amanda ran in.
"What is going on? Why are they taking away Renne?"
Tyler glared at me and said, "I never wanted a child like her."
