Chapter 6: chapter 5:Library
Although it was middle of summer but in this continental territory rains doesn't wait for fall to splash on the Earth. The day was sheeny again after the heavy rainfall of previous day.The air was still fill with earthly smell.Anna was walking in quite hurry to enjoy the weather as she was super late for school.
"Why its happened to me?? Arrrggg why did I slept again on the combat? Professor would get me off again from the class." Anna was talking to herself when she bumped into someone at the school gate.
"Do you often blabber with yourself like this"?
Anna step back from the person and found that it was Jason,one of her classmate.He was a charming man with an complicated attitude and even moody to greet a professor.
" Yes. I do blabber with myself. Because its better than greet a moody person who even doesn't think before saying"Anna said with a disdainful smile and headed to her class but dare not to enter at the eleventh hour of the class.Instead of it she went to cultural hall just to hide for the rest of the minutes.
"Why people tries to hide in such an open room?" Jason said entering in the hall.
"I wasn't trying to hide. I just came here for..."
"For playing a Piano or a flute at the early hour of school? " Jason said chip in her words.
"Then do you have any problem if I play one? "Anna said annoyed .
" Lets see."
Anna went to picked the violin while Jason went to sit for Piano.
He started to play the Piano not waiting for Anna to start.
Anna was surprised for a moment but she put her violin bow on its string in the next moment. They played the orchestra in same tune.The melody was loud enough to attract the students who was passing the hall passage.
Their plays come to an end and the hall was resounded with claps.
"You played so well. It's rare that someone could attune in such a sort time!!" Jason said with a smile.
"Its nothing like that but you seems professional! " Anna bent in a small bow and passed out the little group of student without waiting for his reply just to run away from curious environment.
"Huuuh! Such a creepy person! " Anna said in her mind and went to attend her classes.
"Hay Ann!!Where were you???Why are you so late today?"Uve asked-shouted on Anna.
" You should asked how am I instead!! "Anna replied irritated.
" Oh yeah!You were sick. I went to your home but who knows you would sleeping like a pig hehe!"Uve said while trying to stop her laugh.
"Uve!!!!!! You are such a madhead"Anna whispered while Uve was still trying to stop her laugh.
The rest of the school hour went as usual.
Anna was in the roadside path walking from school to the city library. She asked Uve to came with which Uve rejected so cordially. Anna often came to the library alone as Uve has no interest in reading books unless its exam or assignments.
" A little girl like you could be kidnapped so easily if they walk alone."
"J-Jason!"
"Did I frightened you?"
"Why are you following me?"
"You are wrong.I was just passing by."
"Oh.Then go." Anna step aside to give him a way.
"Ok ok!Lets go together? "
"Where! " Anna asked with a frown in her face.
"There, where you were going a moment ago." Jason smile awkwardly to see Anna getting angry.
"Leave me alone.I don't like companies " Anna said turning around and walk away not waiting for Jason to come.
The librarian greet her at the reception with a warm smile as she was a regular visitor here.Anna went to her favourite table with a book of mythology and started reading it. When she raised her gaze through the window she realized that she had spent more time than required.
She came out from the library and came back home.
When she came near to her home she saw a male figure in the dark.
" What a crap!could he be a theif?Should I shout?"Anna thought in her mind but she huffed to see the familiar figure. It was Roman.
"Professor Roman!!" a little sigh came out of her throat in relief.
"Where were you" Roman said in anger while grabbed her wrist.
"It's hurt!!Let me go" Anna said winched in pain.She was struggling as he pinned her to a wall.
She could feel the anger of him.His blue eyes were more dark then ever which was unnoticed by her for the darkness. She can feel his restless breathe on her neck.All of the hair on her body stand in fear.
"Do not dare to hanging around other man's " Roman said gritted his teeth.
Anna arouse her gaze to meet his eyes staring at her.She blinked her lashes to stop the tears that she holding back until now and turning her face just to hide the escaped drops of tears.
"You should maintain the time schedule that provided only to keep you safe" Roman said stepping backed.
"Don't be that naive. Looks can be deceived. "
"I didn't realized when did it got so dark.I was in the city library.! Anna taken aback from him when a little sob came out of her throat and run towards her house.
Anna wiped her tears with the back of her hand and inhaled deeply and knocked the door.
Anna's father opened the door for her but he didn't bother her with any question to see a book in her hand as he knew where could she be until now.
She was standing in front of a mirror and staring her red brown eyes.Her eyes and lips were swollen from crying .Water were dripping from the strands of her long hair that come over her forehead as she took a bath.A drop of tear dropped on the sink but she went to have a shower again.The water were splashing on her face as she sticked up her face towards the ceiling.
After taking a long shower she came out of bath and went to sleep.
Her mother came to wake her up for dinner but she didn't show any sign of get up for dinner.
Although she was laying on the bed but sleep was far away from her.She picked her phone up and went to her massage box.
She sent a reply to Alvin and Uve.
When she was going to put her phone back she saw the book which she borrowed from the library in this evening. She picked the book and went to her balcony and started reading the book but unable to concentrated with promiscuous thought in her mind.With restless feelings in her heart she closed her eyes while lean against the combat.
Time passed gradually and she fell asleep there.
Roman jumped on her balcony as he was sat in the nearest tree since she came back and until now he was watching over her lurked in the darkness . He picked her up in his arms and set in the combat while covered her with his jacket. Her body was getting warmer as her fever raised again.
"You can play violin whenever you want but the only audience would be me.No one can absorbed in your melody except me. You was too naive to notice that Jason has never turned his gaze from you.You should not be misleaded by People's face." he utter the words under his breathe and inhaled her fragrance.
He opened his eyes and realized that it was getting dawn.He got up from the combat and went inside the room to put her in the bed.He put the book on her desk with a pendant and gave a kiss on her forehead and went away.
The following morning She wake up with a heavy head and swollen face.
A long shower caused her a bad headache. She went to the washroom and dressed in a dark denim with a black shirt. She wore her glasses just to avoid her parents gaze.
" Good morning mum"Anna greet her mother with a smile.
"Morning dear.Come here see what I made." Anna's mother said showing her a baked cake.
"Its looks delicious!! " Anna took a sit with a big piece of cake and eat it while praised her mother at the same time.After breakfast she headed to school on her cycle.
"Hey Ann!Do you have any plan for tomorrow? "Uve asked Anna in a curious tone.
" No.I don't have any."
"Lets go for hiking? " Uve asked with a smile.
"Ok.Let's see." Anna said in the same expression on her face.
"Tomorrow morning at 6.00 am I will come to your gate. " Uve said patting Anna's shoulder and went to her classes as their schedule were different.
Anna know that if see refused Uve, she would irritated her until she agreed. So she agreed on the first approach just to avoid further discussion about it.
The next few classes went eventless except Jason who used to staring at
her whenever she saw him and Uve who start a discussion about hiking whenever she get a chance.
