It took a second to notice but as he looked around him he noticed that whiterun looked way different than in game, the whole city was hundred times bigger as the radius of the planes district was over thousands of houses long and had over hundreds of businesses in there, new businesses that Solomon has never seen before such as a pottery, furnishings. There were more taverns and mead halls then ever before, more than one inns, warehouses and something Solomon has never seen before...Banks. There was a very large garrisons that ever shown in the game as you know, whiterun is a very important city and many people come and go, they need lots of guards to protect the peace and to also defend the city. There was also slums and low quality houses at the edge of the city but far from the sight of travellers so that when they enter the city.
As he headed to the wind district he saw all the rich and regular houses in this zone, there were also guilds and temples located in this section. There was also a park for people and kids to go to and have a breath of fresh air.
Finally the cloud district, it was big as the original whiterun itself, it housed Noble houses such as battle-borns and greymanes and a few more not seen before such as Clan Light-Shield, they arrived here after ysgramor and his companions, the ancestor helped whiterun on many occasions and was conferred to nobility like the other two clans. There was also the companion's mead hall jorvaskr and the skyforge, the companions had roots tied to whiterun or rather whiterun has roots tied to the companions, the companions are a major part of whiterun and they had the right to stay in the cloud district. Furthermore there were rich shops also in the cloud district as noblity were the only ones who could afford whatever there was inside or maybe because the shops had a greater reputation.
But there were major changes such as walls being twice as high and looking thicker sturdier, there was also guard posts on top of these walls to monitor the outside and inside. The buildings had blue roofs and more whiterun had trees in some areas, mostly evergreen as they were adapted for long winters that whiterun has. Whiterun has more snow than before however it's not completely covered in snow, people would wear warmer clothes so that they don't get too cold.
Although it was really cold, Solomon felt less cold than your average human would as he has resistence to cold however that doesn't mean he's immune so he still feels the bitter stinging feeling of coldness sucking the warmth from him.
Although most of whiterun was unfamiliar to him, he headed the same way he would when in game and few minutes later after going left and then heading straight he saw stairs leading to the wind district.
He continued going straight ahead and one his way he noticed how there was so much more new people in the city, they were looking at him with curiosity, as no average person would wear a full set of steel armour in the city unless they were a major adventurer, a mercenary, bandit chief or something else. But it was eye-catching as it was still clean and not damaged unlike other. He was greeted by some people who asked if he was new here, he said yes and asked which way was the cloud district.
"Thanks." waved Solomon as he headed to the entrance of the cloud district and look and behold there it was, the entrance being guarded by quite a few whiterun guards near the entrance and more guarding from the top as they would be ready to shoot anyone cocky enough to sneak past them.
Solomon walked up to a guard, who noticed him heading his way so he held on to his sword ready to un-sheath it, and asked the guard if he can let him in.
"Can I go and speak to the Jarl? I want to inform him about important matter as lives are in danger." Solomon tried to look distressed, he was using his speech skill to get access to the cloud district."
"The Jarl is busy today. The Jarl's court is having a meeting today, nobody can disrupt their meeting, so sorry but you'll have to go." said the guard.
"Sir, I have the important information they need, if I don't go there then riverwood will be in danger as a dragon is on the loose. I also have something the court wizard needs." said Solomon
"You mean that flying thing I saw wasn't a dream but actually a dragon? well that explains things. Fine, I'll take you to Dragonsreach but you'll have to follow me. And no lollygagging!" said the guard as he notified his comrade to fill his spot as he decided to take Solomon to dragonsreach himself because what if he was lying and was to cause trouble in the cloud district for the great clans. He would be the one responsible.
Most people when they saw a dragon flying over whiterun they thought it was just an illusion as dragons haven't been sighted for thousands of years and all they know about them was from stories, how can stories suddenly become a reality, this was simply unbelievable and most people decided that they weren't going to talk about it whilst the guards decided at the same time to silence people who would create a ruckus because of this.
Solomon and Lokir managed to get into the cloud district, Lokir felt like he was a VIP, they went the similar high stairs that were in game and Solomon noticed that Dragonsreach was still made of wood but it was way bigger than the one in game and furthermore there were beautiful statues at the side organised to give a great spectacle for the eye.
They entered Dragonsreach where the Jarl and his court were discussing the matter about dragons.
The guard stepped up in front of the duo and spoke to Irileth, who was really pissed off at the guard. She then went up to Solomon and inquired why he was here.
"What's the meaning of this interruption?! Jarl Bulgruuf does not receive visitors!" said Irileth harshly as she looked them in the eye with intimidation.
"We have come here to tell the great Jarl Bulgruuf about the dragon that you saw." said Solomon. Irileth was going to refute that that wasn't a good reason and was going to call the guards to remove them immediately.
"Irileth, let them speak. Come to me." said Jarl Bulgruuf as the officials removed themselves from being in the way and stood at the side just in case. Solomon and Lokir stood in front of Jarl Bulgruuf, Lokir was kneeling respectfully in front of the jarl whilst Solomon was standing up as if it didn't matter to him if Bulgruuf was a Jarl.
Hrongar was pissed off at Solomon's actions but Bulgruuf raised his hand towards him, silencing him.
Bulgruuf wore his similar clothes like in skyrim, along with his similar haircut and beard but he had a scar going down his eye and also he was much taller and muscular, looking like the great warrior he was. His eyes were like a hawks and generally he gave of a dominant aura that made him look superior to anyone in here, who were all veteran warriors.
A Jarl was a king or a chieftain, they were treated like royalty and had great power and glory in Skyrim. Most nords would bow before their leaders to show their respect and reverence as any mortals do.
"Speak. What is it about the dragon attack?" asked Bulgruuf with his warm voice as it contradicted with his ice cold stoic look.
"A dragon has destroyed Helgen and riverwood his close by. Riverwood has no warriors to defend it in case a dragon was to attack. So I ask of you if the great Jarl Bulgruuf would be willing to lend Riverwood some help?" asked Solomon whilst giving a determined look.
Bulgruuf was contemplating as there was pros and cons of sending his forces to riverwood such as Falkreath viewing his decision as a provocation however his people mattered the most, not some pathetic Jarl like Siddgeir.
"The Jarl of Falkreath will view that as a provocation! He'll assume we're preparing to join Ulfric's side and attack him-" Avenicci said but was interrupted by an angry Jarl.
"Enough!! I will not stand idly by as a dragon burns my hold and slaughters my people! Irileth send detachment to riverwood at once." Bulgruuf said as he commanded Irlieth who immediately went and fulfilled the order. Avenicci also left.
"Well done you both sought me out on your own initiative. You've done whiterun a service and I won't forge it. I am a man of gratitude and I always repay it, that's why I'm giving you these." said Bulgruuf as he clapped his hands and Hrongar returned with dwarven armour and a dwarven bow. "Take these as a small token of my esteem."
Both Solomon and the kneeling Lokir thanked him.
"If you want to help then there is a task you could do for me, as I can see that you are not an ordinary man but someone with talent which I could use. If you're willing." said Bulgruuf.
"Of course he'd be willing Jarl Bulgruuf, isn't that right Solomon." said Lokir as Solomon replied with a 'yeah'.
"Then come follow me, we'll meet Farengar my court wizard." said Bulgruuf as they went to the room on the right were the court wizard's working area is, Farengar's area had lots of books and artefacts that were locked behind magically reinforced glass panels.
"Farengar, I've got someone who could help you with your dragon project." said Jarl Bulgruuf.
"So the jarl thinks you can help me with my project ey... Yes right, I need you to collect something for me, when I mean collect I meant delve deep down an ancient ruins that may or may not be swarming with bandits and drugr. Think you can take them on?" asked Farengar with slight cockiness as most men wouldn't be able to handle such tasks.
"Fine. Where am I going and what am I fetching?" asked Solomon.
"Straight to the point? I like that. I need you to do to bleakfalls barrow and collect an ancient tablet, the dragonstone. I'm sure the jarl will reward you after you have completed the task." said Farengar as he looked at the jarl.
The jarl was watching from the sidelines as he too wished to know what the project was as farengar was mostly a silent man, however farengar always does a good job and never fails him, so the jarl sees him as a reliable friend.
"You mean this~" said Solomon happily as he pulled out the dragonstone from his backpack, meanwhile Lokir was watching with shock. Did Solomon predict that the court wizard would want it? Or was it just luck? Because Solomon is one lucky bastard?
"Ah! The Dragonstone of Bleakfalls Barrow! You already found it! You are cut from a different cloth than the usual brutes the Jarl foists on me." laughed farengar as he rubbed his beard.
" Thanks. I stumbled upon it whilst I was in the ruins." said Solomon whilst scratching the back of his head.
'that's bullshit' said Lokir in his head.
"Jarl Bulgruuf! Farengar! Sorry to interrupt but I have received news, from a guard, that a dragon has attacked our western watchtower." Irileth said hurriedly as she wanted to receive orders from her jarl and immediately head of and slay the dragon.
"Irileth you better you'd better gather some guardsmen and get down there." said Jarl Bulgruuf to which Irileth was quick to reply.
"I have already mustered some guardsmen near the main gate."
"Good." Jarl Bulgruuf then looked at the guardsman that stood next to Irileth,"Good work son. Head down to the barracks and get yourself something to eat and some rest."
"Thank you, my lord." said the guard as he headed out of Dragonsreach.
"I'm sorry to ask of you for this my friend but could you help Irileth wiith slaying the dragon? You were at Helgen so you're, and your friend, the only ones that have more experience with dragons than anyone else in all of skyrim. Please, lives are at stake here." asked Bulgruuf as he was determined to have his people receive help. Bulgruuf knew that Solomon was strong as he heard that bleaksfall borrow had ancient powerful undead nords sealed inside that place, not many adventurers and warriors dared to enter and come out alive.
"Jarl Bulgruuf, do not fret. I will help your men take down the dragon. I know since you're the jarl you need to remain in the keep and control the city so that no chaos lets loose coz if you were out there you would've taken the dragon down." said Solomon, Bulgruuf smiled as Solomon understood his prediciment, he can't go around fighting dragons if he was to be assassinated or if suddenly there's a coup d'etat.
Jarl Bulgruuf out of most of the jarls he was top tier as he was a warm, kind and compassionate jarl who wanted to avoid conflict at all costs, he was truly a wise ruler compared to the other sleezy, lazy, arrogant, inexperienced and snobish jarls like siddgeir.
Then Solomon took Lokir by the collar and dragged him through the air as he ran all the way to th western watchtower.
...
Solomon has arrived at the scene even before Irileth has arrived, it was dark outside as it was 19:47 the western watchtower looked more wrecked than in game as many pats were scattered around and some were burning. Even material such as stone was burning, a material that was Nonflammable actually burned. This dragon really must be strong to do this.
"No! You have to get out of here. That thing grabbed Hroki and Tor when they tried to make a run for it! That thing- that Dragon wrecked the entire watchtower as if it was a toy, its flames were very hot that even from the top floor I could still feel the heat. An absolute monster. Did You Not Hear Me! Run!" The guard shouted at Solomon as his kind heart didn't want Solomon to die under the flames of the dragon.
Suddenly an unknown sound was heard in the sky.
"Kynareth saves us! Here it comes again!" shouted the guard as he pointed to the sky and then drawed back his bow ready to fight again.
ROOOOO!
The dragon roared as it picked one of the guards only to drop him from a high altitude resulting in obviously the guard dying. As he dragon was flying some arrows managed to hit him however they did not manage to penetrate its scales as they were to strong. Only Irileth managed to do some damage as she sent tunderbolts at the dragon however it did very little damage as fire dragons had a lesser resistance to lightning and greater resistance in fire obviously.
Solomon told the mesmerised Lokir to fire as he handed him the dwarven bow and a pile of iron arrows.
Fus-Roh-Dah!
The dragon unleashed a great roar as a shockwave was sent out and aimed at the already ruined tower. The top burning half part of the tower was sent flying broken from the base, it flew to the left side and managed to crush some guards that weren't paying attention, two died.
Boom!
The dragon landed on the ground as a massive earthquake not only shook this area but also all of whiterun near by shook as the physically superior dragon slammed the ground with its big butt.
Solomon managed to stand on his knees as he rushed towards the dragon with his sword drawn, seeing this the dragon shoot the disarm shout, sending Solomon's sword flying away. Solomon wasn't dismayed as he continued to rush towards the dragon, he activated nordic frost as the back of his hands had a thin layer of frost coating the skin.
Meanwhile Irileth and the guards surrounded the dragon from every side possible and were sending a barrage of attacks. However that did no damage at all and then dragon tiltingly movef sideways and bashed the soldiers surrounding it, it then sprinted meters forward before rotating amd having all the opponents before its radar. It unleashed unrelenting force upon them as they all wete sent flying.
Solomon arrived at the face of the dragon who was going to release a shout however Solomon used smoke breath to release pure dark smoke out of his mouth that blinded the dragon for a few seconds.
However this was enough for Solomon as he went to the side of the dragon and punched it in the gut with all his strength, barely managing to crack some scales bit that was enough for the frost to enter and damage the dragon.
Meanwhile Lokir who was in the tower found a chance to finally fire an arrow and shot it at its face, it got stuck in the dragon's mouth gum which irritated the dragon but gave more time for Solomon.
However Solomin didn't notice the tail swipe that was aiming for his head and..
Bang!
Although Solomon's head wasn't sent flying it, his face was massacred as his nose was bloodied, his eyes were black and his face was swollen.'dragons truly are the physically strongest beings in elder scrolls' thought Solomon and was lucky to have trained to the sixth level of celestial breaker technique.
The dragon didn't stop as it hit Solomon in the chest with its wing and send Solomon flying in the air.
Lokir fired again this time hitting the dragon in the eye very luckily.
Solomon casted healing on himself before back up he used unrelenting force to further stagger the dragon before he whirlwind sprinted before it.
He activated his other power from his dragon god loodline, scale armour, Solomon's body was covered in brown scales. This power makes Solomon grow scales feom his body that not only provide great defence but also uncrease his strength by nearly twice.
Bang!
Solomon's fist penetrated through the dragon's scales and then he focused his nordic frost to freeze the dragon into a popsicle. The dragon was an ice statue as it was slowly dying.
"poor dragon, why did you have to do this..." Solomon was kinda sad as this dragon Milmunir just died by his hands, a beautiful creature.
Solomon then went up to the dragon statue and smashed the head with a punch. The entire statue shattered as the bones and scales were down on the ground, scattered.
Suddenly a colourful light started enveloping Solomon, Solomon was devoiring the dragon's soul and he felt pretty good and slightly more powerful.
'I finally absorbed a dragon shout and completed the unrelenting force shout. Finally.'
-----------------------------------------
I made some changes to skyrim such as: changing few places, changing/ new enemies and also made dunner have alliance with stormcloaks (empire would still give morrowind sholstiem (sorry) but would dislike them for their religion of daedra worshipping as oblivion crissis was caused by daedra worshippers).
Also I am following the main story for now however it is all for solomon to achieve a certain goal that will help further his future plans( it means that it will then diverge from the original and make a new legend in land of tamriel). i can't spoil everything can i?
