(A/N: Rewritten)
It has now been four years, and many things have happened and changed. Learning that my parent's names were Izuna and Miyrae Uchiha, I was frankly excited. Though never really into 'Naruto,' I did know that the Uchiha Clan was a very prominent clan.
They were also known for their unique eyes, the [Sharingan], one of the Three Great Dōjutsu. But, apart from knowing that the semi-antagonist Sasuke was from the Uchiha, I honestly have no clue about this clan.
Anyways, again, many things had happened during these past four years. One specific example was the strange change in Vyra-chan's personality. It is almost as if she purposely tries to hunt me down every day.
Hunt for me down for what?
Well, hugs.
It's a strange habit, though I don't particularly mind it. Also, for some peculiar reason, Father always looks at me smugly. It is like he knows something, but won't share it. Anyhow, Vyra-chan also regularly calls me, "Onii-chan," which I find both weird and satisfying for some reason.
I honestly can't put my fingers on just why that is so.
It would also seem that Vyra-chan had completely gotten rid of the 'Mental [Companion] Connection,' as I liked to call it. I had previously tried to 'start it up,' but it ultimately failed to work.
When Vyra-chan had first begun to hug I whenever possible, Father also started to look at me as if I was an idiot. Though for that too, I cannot put my fingers on just why.
There was also a time when our father's side's uncle, Madara-ojisan, had visited us during both of our birthdays.
As for the date of our birthday, well, I honestly have no clue. This 'Naruto' universe doesn't seem to have a way to measure time.
Though, I am learning to calculate time by using the positions of the Sun, Moon, and Stars.
During Madara-ojisan's visit, the first thing I noted was that he was—or at least looked—rather old.
He, at then, had shoulder-length gray hair and slight wrinkles beginning to form on his face. He had worn a dark blue kimono, with a light-purple obi holding it together.
I've heard that he was a very competent shinobi. Able to rival the likes of the current Hokage of Konohagakure no Sato, Lord Hashirama Senju.
Though I don't suspect the rumors one bit, the first thing he had done when arriving, was staring at Vyra-chan for five whole minutes.
It was, only after Mother had tapped him on the shoulder, had he stopped. Was there something wrong with Vyra-chan? Or was he merely a closet-pedophile?
I mean, I'm not one to judge. Everyone has their eccentricities and kinks about their own persons.
If I remembered correctly, the next thing he had done was to scratch his cheeks in what-seemed-to-be embarrassment.
"Vyra-chan is going to be a little beauty when she grows up," he had said. Vyra looked uncomfortable, but everyone else heartily laughed. It was accurate after all. She certainly is pretty.
"Let's go eat everyone," Mother then said. She was more of the 'father' in the than Father. She was more of the sober and sensible type, unlike Father who had a moderately goofy nature. Anyways, everyone nodded and headed towards the living room, where we usually ate.
Sitting down, I had noticed that Madara-ojisan was staring at my eyes, for some reason. It made me slightly uncomfortable. But soon, he quietly smiled and looked away, waiting for Izuna and Miyrae to bring the food over to the dinner table.
The food itself was quite bland, as all of Mother's other cooking, but no one minded. Also, not only was the food bland, but it filled up your stomach as well.
Anyways, the supper ended rather quickly, with most of us just leaving bits food uneaten. And
Madara-ojisan left after without much hassle, though not before lightly shouting: "Vyra-chan, Yasuo-chan, make sure you pay a visit to this old man in the future!"
Other than Madara-ojisan's visit, there had also been quests given to me over the past years. And before I forget, it seems that children grow much faster in this universe. At only a year old, Vyra-chan and I were able to speak fluently and walk ordinarily.
However, Mother and Father didn't seem surprised to at all, as if it was normal for toddlers to be able to do so.
Though, I suspect that it is because of the ambient chakra increasing the growth of our bodies and minds. And our parents seem to think—or even know—so as well.
Anyways, to name one of the quests, it was about convincing my parents to teach me how to control my chakra.
I was three then, and ordinarily, children only start to master chakra control at four—when they begin Academy. Though, Mother and Father had Vyra begin training at three as well.
During that time, they had also made us use the 'Chakra Induction Paper' to test our affinities. And I'm proud to say that I had gotten four nature transformations!
Though, Vyra had gotten seven—I wonder if it is because of her talent or godship.
The four were [Fire], [Lightning], [Water], and [Yin]. Supposedly, almost all Uchiha clan members were guaranteed an affinity towards [Fire] and [Yin]. It would seem that at times, genetics prevail.
This quest had also given me the [Skill], [Chakra Control]. Which as the name implies, allows me to control chakra more effectively as the [Skill] levels up, and gives me a passive 5% boost in the [Magic] stat.
It is now [Lvl. 5] from the constant training. It's surprisingly hard to level compared to the [Affinities].
Another quest (that I think is relevant) was making Vyra-chan kiss Father! Father was oh so happy, enough to order up a feast for celebration. Or he just frankly didn't want to eat the blandness that is Mother's cooking.
As for how I had gotten her to do so, it was a simple chocolate cake. I was quite surprised this universe even had chocolate. Everything in this universe seems primitive, from the way people lived to the culture itself.
However, at the same time, it had things out of its era. There were organized groups that prevented crime—the police—and even ramen!
Everything felt weirdly disproportionate to its time, but it's not like I mind. It is quite pleasant here. Everything is cheaper here than the modern era, after all. Plus, I even have a family.
Anyways, I'm getting out of hand. I had gotten the chocolate cake from an uncle near the shopping district.
More specifically, in a somewhat shady street with shops selling lots of sweets. The stuff is abnormally cheap, perfect for my low monthly allowance!
Thankfully, the quest gave me a generous amount of points, as well as money! 120,000 ryō in fact! That amount could probably buy me a small house if I wanted. Other than those rewards, the quest had also surprisingly given me a new stat called [Charm]!
If [Charm] worked more like charisma, then doing things would be much simpler. Mother and Father would listen or even agree to my requests, and I might even get some food for free from a random shop owner!
Though what worries me is the possibility regarding several hordes of people jumping me. But, that's not so important right now. My [Charm] stat is only [21] so, hopefully, I won't have to worry about that.
Going on the topic of my current status, my [Sharingan] has <Evolved> to the [Mangekyō Sharingan]!
It was rather easy to level up. Light bits of 'spamming' the 'on/off' for the [Sharingan] and using 20,000 A.M. Points, and it had turned Mangekyō.
Having the [Sharingan] level up and <Evolve> had of course given me a myriad of perks. The two unlocked by leveling was [Eye of Insight] and [Eye of Hypnotism].
The former granting incredible perception while the latter gave allowed me to perform the [Genjutsu: Sharingan].
The abilities that the [Mangekyō Sharingan] gave were [Omoikane] and [Ebisu].
If I remember correctly, they were gods of wisdom and intelligence, and fishermen and luck respectively. And the [Skills] given by the Mangekyō seem to correlate to their divinities.
[Omoikane] created an illusion where the 'Target' is trapped. They hadn't the ability to attack me while in the [Genjutsu] and are stuck in a loop of time. The 'Target' would feel a domain-like border and would be compelled to escape it.
However, the catch was, that they can never leave. Unless I wish so, or the 'Target' dies from suicide or another method of killing themselves, of course.
As for [Ebisu]—it was similar in ways that it also looped time and were never able to leave. However, for this [Genjutsu], they were granted all of their wishes, no matter of value. But there was, of course, another catch. And it was that it would be taken away when they indulge in them.
[Ebisu] would be practically useless if the 'Target' had no wishes, and I felt that it was ineffective overall. However, what set these two apart from traditional [Genjutsu], was that it directly affected time.
It would seem that unlike 'ordinary' [Genjutsu] using 'Time,' where it distorted a Target's sense of time, the [Skills] manipulated time itself.
And for some reason, the [Sharingan]'s [Susanoo] has yet to be unlocked.
For me, it was one of the more 'iconic' things in 'Naruto,' and was quite an enthusiast of it. But, it might be because I hadn't leveled the [Mangekyō Sharingan] enough yet, or even <Evolve> it into the Eternal.
Speaking of the level of my Mangekyō, it is unfortunately only [Lvl. 1] currently. It wasn't because I was not trying to level it up, but because of the difficulty to do so.
One had to do actual battle, spar or not. And Mother and Father, heck even Vyra-chan, would immediately force that clear if I ever had the idea.
Anyways, other than [Omoikane] and [Ebisu], I had also bought—if I recall accurately—Obito's Mangekyō ability, [Kamui]. The cost was for a heartfelt forty-three thousand points.
Speaking of the [Store], I had also bought a [Gravity Suit], [Holy Water], and a weakened [Unlimited Blade Works].
The [Gravity Suit], when worn, made my stats divide by two when on 2x gravity. And it divided them by three when on 3x pressure. The pattern goes on the more heaviness, but it did make training much smoother.
Put the suit on 50x or 100x gravity, and easy stats aplenty! Of course, that would also make me easily collapse onto the floor, and perhaps even die from the pressure emitting from the [Gravity Suit].
Whenever I equip the thing, it doesn't appear on my physical body—it is instead spiritual. It doesn't have a material appearance, but I know it's most definitely on me whenever I equip it.
Nevertheless, [Unlimited Blade Works] was weakened in the sense that it had none of its previous recorded weapons. If it did, I'm sure it would cost much more than merely 18,250 Points.
I've haven't read or watched much of Shirou Emiya during modern times, but I do know that his [Reality Marble] was strong! Though even without it, I'm sure it would be of use.
Its ability called [Mark]—which was able to record any weapon's histories, compositions, and designs—is already amazing. Not to mention it being able to make a 99.9% copy of any said recorded weapons and the like.
Leveling [Unlimited Blade Works] to the max level of 100, had given it an ability called [Shambles]. It created a domain with a maximum distance of 100-meters. And inside the area, it allows me to summon, make, or copy any weapons.
To put simply, [Shambles] is [Unlimited Blade Works], but makes the [Reality Marble] alternate the real world instead of making an enemy travel into the [Reality Marble].
However, it was also buffed, in the sense that it allowed me to use [Gradation Air], or specifically, [Projection], along with its [Skills].
And finally, there is the [Holy Water]. To solely say it was powerful did not give it enough justice. Not only did it cure all curses, which (somehow) had gotten rid of the [Curse of Hatred] from both the [Sharingan] and [Indra Bloodline], but it also gave a blessing called [Mighty].
Hey, I know what you're thinking! I didn't make this name up, AM did!
Ahem—that 'Ahem' was weird to write—anyways, the blessing was what made the [Holy Water] powerful. [Mighty] cured one's physical and mental stamina—practically immortality, but without getting bored! Combined with the [Gravity Suit], I was able to get absurd gains from the blessing.
Over the years, my physical stats have increased much. [Power] is now [42] and [Endurance] is [34], while [Dexterity] is now [56]. [Agility] had increased as well, equaling [Dexterity] at [56]. And, though not related to the physical stats, [Magic] was now [342]!
Also, if anyone was wondering how I knew all this, there is a little description box of the [Skills]. It's quite useful, especially if I don't understand how to use an ability, or just how an ability works overall.
___
Yasuo smiled happily, as he closed his diary. He had started just a few minutes ago, and he had gotten the idea from AM of all people.
He had to admit though, it was a great way to organize one's thoughts, even if the diary itself was not so organized—it was his first time writing one! It also had a strangely calming effect, but that might just be him and his mind messing with him
Yasuo headed downstairs after dressing up. It was quite early in the morning, and he had awoken then on purpose.
Today was the start of Academy for the twins! Yasuo was initially surprised when Izuna had suddenly told him about it, just yesterday.
Sure, children grew faster due to chakra, and in modern times kids went to pre-kindergarten, but wasn't four-years-old too early?
Though Yasuo could somewhat understand, it was currently a time of war and conflict. Children required to be taught faster during an early age to win such battles.
Anyhow, Miyrae was waiting for Yasuo downstairs in the living room. Vyra had already woken up beforehand, though neither of the twins had eaten as of yet.
But, they didn't need to. The atmospheric chakra could provide them, almost like unconscious cultivation.
"Are you ready, Vyra-chan, Yasuo-chan?" Miyrae smiled towards the two, and they returned it, both happily shouting, "Yes, mother!"
Though in all honesty, Vyra could've cared less about the Academy.
The only reason why she was attending, was because of Yasuo. If not, she wouldn't have bothered in the slightest. Yasuo's wish hadn't diminished any of her godly powers after all.
The group of Uchiha began walking, heading south near the Hokage Mountain. The mountain had the faces of the First Hokage, Hashirama Senju, and Madara Uchiha, while directly at the base was the Academy.
Tobirama Senju, the brother of the Hokage, had established the Academy. It was out of military necessity, and along the school, was the Hokage's office and the Jōnin Standby Station.
The latter, as the name implies, was where jōnin stay when waiting for the Hokage's orders or emergencies, as well as when they are off duty.
Soon arriving at the Academy, there were many other waiting folks. And standing in front of the building was Hashirama and Madara. They were all anticipating the opening of the new year of students.
Seeing there was a bit more time, Miyrae began looking for friends while the twins followed close behind. Perhaps there would be someone they knew also attending the Academy.
And, indeed, there was: "Miyrae-san, are the twins going to attend the Academy?" A pleasant voice came from behind the group.
Looking behind, everyone noticed a familiar face: Mito Uzumaki. The wife of Lord Hashirama, and the current and first jinchūriki of the Nine-Tails.
From the stories Yasuo had heard, Madara and Hashirama had both worked together to subdue the beast. Then, they ultimately decided to seal the fox into Mito due to her skills with fūinjutsu and chakra reserves.
"Certainly, Mito-san. Is Tsunade-chan going to attend as well?" Miyrae greeted with a warm smile. (A/N: Keep in mind, this garbage novel takes place in an AU or alternative universe)
Mito smiled back. "Of course, Miyrae-san. Tsunade-chan had just recently turned four. That little girl was so excited." She laughed. "Maybe she'll even be in the same class as Yasuo-chan or Vyra-chan."
"Yes. I hope so as well, Mito-san."
"Bring your children inside!" Hashirama's voice suddenly called. "There will be a board with your child's name, class, and homeroom teacher! Again, please bring your children inside!"
And with that, the boys and girls from both senior and freshmen classes all went rushing towards the building. Everyone was excited. The Academy was where someone improved. No one would not want free and almost guaranteed knowledge and power; the former equally the latter.
Meanwhile, the group casually took their time. They were in no hurry. Classes would start in thirty minutes anyway. Using this time, Yasuo put on a pair of round nerd-like glasses. He wasn't narcissistic, and he hated wearing them, but he didn't want [Charm] to make trouble for him.
From AM's explanation, an average human had an [Charm] of [1] while a handsome superstar would have [5]. However, Yasuo had a total of [21], which unluckily for Yasuo, AM had just-now told him this rather 'important' information.
Anyhow, soon reaching the now-clear board without much hassle, the twins found that they were both coincidentally in the same class! The two both grinned happily towards one another, giving each other a high-five before waving Miyrae goodbye, and heading towards Classroom 3.
The class' teacher was Danzō Shimura. And Yasuo couldn't help but wonder how that person became an instructor. There were many stories regarding what type of character Shimura was. He had a cold villain-like personality, not fit for caring to ignorant little children.
But, who was he to judge? There were still many other tales of Danzō Shimura greatly assisting the village. One such example was creating Root, a branch of Konohagakure's Anbu training subdivision. Root was both effective and efficient, carrying out missions that exceedingly benefited the village.
As they arrive and enter their destination, they were both promptly greeted with intense stares. It was much more towards Vyra than Yasuo. The latter was still wearing his pair of 'nerd' glasses lowering his overall [Charm], appearance and presence.
And he was quite thankful for it. Having people stare at you with awe, lust, or even hate was not exactly the best of pleasures.
Well, to him anyways.
Vyra suddenly grabs Yasuo by his hand, much to his confusion, before quickly heading towards the very back of the room. But, even then, stares continued to land upon the duo.
As the two sit down, side by side, Yasuo noticed a white-haired boy come towards their direction, though a bit blurry. The pair of glasses weren't exactly the best to see through.
Standing in front of Vyra, the white-haired boy began to position himself into a clumsy gentlemen-like kneel.
Holding his hand out, he introduced himself with a 'sincere' and 'courteous' tone, "Greetings my lady, this young man's name is Jiraiya. May I hold your beautiful hand?"
Near the end, his voice slightly faltered, turning an unhidden 'lewd.'
However, before Vyra could reply, Yasuo put a hand on Jiraiya's shoulder and pointed towards the boy's back.
Deciding to heed the nerd-boy's warning, he looked behind and, was utterly terrified. "D, Danzō-sensei!" Jiraiya greeted like a frightened animal.
"Would you care to have a seat...Jiraiya?" In response, the white-haired boy immediately nodded, quickly running towards a vacant chair to sit. His now pale face still adorning a fearful expression.
Danzō then proceeded to move towards the front, where a stand and chalkboard lied. "I will call out your name, and you will introduce yourselves. That is all for today. I'm sure you'd be busy," he said. His voice was slow, cold, loud, and commanding.
The students gravely nodded in reply.
"Might Duy."
"GOOD TO MEET YOU, FELLOW STUDENTS!" He had practically screamed out. It sounded as if his very being was full of excitement, but there was also nervousness within. "MY NAME IS MIGHT DUY! AND I AIM TO BECOME THE GREATEST TAIJUTSU MASTER!"
"Sit down. Hiashi Hyūga..."
"Fugaku Uchiha..."
"Mikoto Uchiha..."
"Tsunade Senju..."
(A/N: Again, please keep in mind that this novel is an AU)
The introduction session had continued until the last two, who were coincidentally Yasuo and Vyra. Danzō slightly narrowed his eyes towards the twins, before calling out the latter's name, his voice remaining indifferent: "Vyra Uchiha."
She promptly stood from her seat, her posture straight and noble. "I have no particular interests, other than sweets and my twin brother's interests." She stated, plainly and clearly. But even then, many were still looking at her with lovestruck looks in their eyes, even girls.
However, Yasuo secretly took note of one particular pale boy. He had introduced himself as Orochimaru, an orphan as he stated. The ghostly-white boy had declared he would achieve immortality, though not the reasons.
And to this, many of the class laughed. But, Yasuo was not one of them. He took it very seriously, though 'cheesy,' he had seen the look in the boy's eyes. There was only determination, Yasuo could respect such. He too desired such a fantasy-like feat after all.
"Yasuo Uchiha," Danzō Shimura called. And for the first time in long, Yasuo had felt an odd bout of irritability. It was strange. He didn't know—no—understand what it was.
Was it excitement? Anxiety? Unease? Yasuo took a deep breath, maybe it's because he frankly wasn't used to large crowds. Hmm. Yes, that was it.
"Yes sensei," Yasuo nodded and rose up, while unknowingly to himself, his smooth voice shocked the class. No one would have excepted 'nerd glasses' to be so... charming.
"My goal is to become a great swordsman, and I like training and my sister. I don't have any particular dislikes. That is all, sensei." He said before sitting back down.
The class was awed, the geek-like kid wanted to be similar to one of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist—a great swordsman. Even with the large round glasses covering most of his face, some girls began to see Yasuo as more handsome than before, solely from that one short speech.
Yasuo silently took note of this. The [Charm] stat, from his observations, affects his voice as well, or rather, is overall charisma. Yasuo had expected this; the word 'charm' was vague and AM, unfortunately, didn't provide explanations for stats either.
Thus, Yasuo figured that [Charm] would either affect only a single thing or everything overall. He imagined it was the former, recalling what Vyra had previously said during their first encounter, 'The Ancient Manipulator will adjust to the universe, allowing you to get maximum advantage.'
"You are all dismissed," Danzō said, interrupting Yasuo's inner thoughts. Then the cold teacher flashed away with a cloud of smoke in his wake. Everyone proceeds to leave the classroom, Yasuo notices that a certain pale boy had yet to move from his seat.
"Orochimaru-san," Yasuo called, walking up to the boy. Orochimaru turned his head towards Yasuo, who still had the pair of glasses on. In perfect honesty, Orochimaru didn't think much of the nerd-boy.
Everyone had their dreams. It was only a matter if one works hard enough to achieve it. To Orochimaru, Yasuo didn't look like a 'hard worker,' but instead, it screamed 'book geek.'
Though the former could be the latter, it was not necessarily the same for the opposite. The reason was, most 'book geeks' types do not put what they learn into practice.
They solely absorb knowledge and keep it. Orochimaru himself was a 'book geek,' but that started from being a 'hard worker.'
"Would you like to walk home with us?" Yasuo asked. Orochimaru was propelled to say no but stopped at the last moment. '...Us? Who...?'
But his mouth opened in realization. How could he forget? Yasuo Uchiha, the famed son of Izuna and Miyrae Uchiha.
Orochimaru silently nodded. Maybe he would benefit from this rare occasion.
'But why is he wearing that strange pair of glasses?' Orochimaru inwardly asked himself.
As his confusion remained, he eventually stumbled upon the answer.
'He must be trying to give off an unassuming appearance!' he thought. 'How clever, even I fell for it.'
Orochimaru softly shook his head as he cleared away his thoughts. Thinking about it anymore would make him feel as if someone slapped him on his face.
"Onii-chan, hurry up!" Orochimaru heard a girl's voice call. If he remembered correctly, it was Vyra Uchiha.
"Okay, Vyra-chan! I'll be there in a second!" Yasuo called back, before facing towards Orochimaru. "Well let's go, Orochimaru-chan!"
Orochimaru's eye slightly twitched at being called 'chan,' but... his hand was then being held Yasuo, being lead towards the gate.
"Now then, let's go home, everyone!" Yasuo smiled, noticing that Vyra was staring towards his and Orochimaru's hands, but paid no mind to it.
Miyrae and Izuna were not there to pick them up, unfortunately. They two were busy with missions, ranging from A-rank to even S-rank. Though even the latter would not be too much trouble for the two, they were both very powerful shinobi after all.
"Ah...Vyra, Orochimaru." Yasuo abruptly paused as the group was walking. "I forgot to do something. I'll come home later."
Vyra stared at her twin for a short moment, before reluctantly nodding. Yasuo smiled, turning to face Orochimaru.
"I'm sorry, Orochimaru-chan. I'll see you tomorrow!" he said as he ran towards a random direction, waving his hand back.
Jumping on the roofs, and making sure no one was near, Yasuo checked the abrupt and newly given guest. In truth, what had happened was:
~~~
[Ding! Quest Received!]
-Walk Home?-
Mission: Return Home!
Additional Mission: Return Home Alive!
Additional Mission (2): Return Home... More Alive?!
Mission Rewards—50,000 Points!
Additional Mission Rewards—10,000 Points!
Additional Mission Rewards (2)—150,000 Points!
~~~
Yasuo's eye twitched, as his mouth gaped open. 'No no, this isn't right. AM wouldn't just give free points out of nowhere.
What's the catch, huh?
There has to be a trap! Why aren't you answering AM?!' Yasuo thought, inwardly cursing the system.
'AM! Use [Summon Orb]!' He commanded. Yasuo decided to be as careful as possible. Who knows what would happen during the quest?
Maybe a nearby meteorite would land right on above his head, or just straight-up dying. That was the danger and wonder of the missions. Some were exceedingly simple, while others were severely life-threatening.
(Ding! Using [Summon Orb]...)
In a light flash, a boy with short, unkempt, dark-colored hair, black eyes, and a relatively broad nose and well-defined eyelashes appeared in front of Yasuo.
He wore a high-collared, and dark-colored outfit with a tantō strapped to the right side of his back shoulder. This boy was, of course, Shisui Uchiha.
(To clarify, Host's [Summonded] can view Host's current ongoing quests, and status, which includes inventory)
Yasuo lightly nodded, but then immediately turned stiff at Shisui's introduction: "Young master, Yasuo-sama," he said before forcing himself into a position of kneeling. Yasuo began to sweat, starting to panic.
What should he do? Bow back? Maybe give a quick wave of greeting? Thankfully, Shisui stood back up, seeing Yasuo's uncertain and nervous face. Yasuo lightly cough.
"Well, Shisui-san, let's quickly return... home. Ah! How am I going to explain this to mom and dad?!" Yasuo panicked.
"Do not worry young master. I'll have that taken care of." Shisui reassured with a light smile.
Without waiting for Shisui, Yasuo quickly dashed North, the location of 'home.' However, Shisui was easily able to follow behind Yasuo. He wasn't a [King Tier] summon without any basis on his capabilities.
Soon reaching their desired destination, Yasuo grew even more suspicious. Nothing had happened at all! 'What is this quest?! AM wouldn't just give out free sh*t!' Yasuo thought, becoming even more paranoid.
'The one thing I thought one quest was free, I later had to face against three whole rogue chūnins, and it certainly wasn't fun!'
Suddenly, a humanoid-shaped bullet came straight towards Yasuo. This 'bullet,' was of course Vyra. Meanwhile, Shisui, who was beside Yasuo, didn't move.
AM had provided him information about his young master and his life. And Vyra was naturally in that 'provided knowledge.'
Yasuo let out a small 'oof,' as Vyra came crashing towards him. Holding and steadying her body, Yasuo asked, "Hey Vyra-chan, can you bring mother and father out? They ought to be home by now."
Vyra bobbed her head, before running back inside the house.
After a couple of seconds, Vyra came back out, accompanied by Izuna and Miyrae. "What happened, Yasuo-ch- Oh! Who are you?" Miyrae asked, looking towards Shisui.
The boy didn't reply. Instead, he activated his [Mangekyō Sharingan] and looked towards Izuna and Miyrae, muttering 'something' under his breath.
After a short pause, Shisui deactivated his [Sharingan], only then replying with a bow, "Good afternoon, Miyrae-sama, Izuna-sama."
The two nodded, heading back towards the house. Yasuo stared his parents leaving in wonder, just what did Shisui do?
"Yasuo-sama, I've cast a [Genjutsu] towards Izuna-sama and Miyrae-sama, that had manipulated them by giving them false experiences." Shisui began to explain, almost like reading Yasuo's mind.
"And don't fret young master, the 'Targets' of this [Kotoamatsukami] will be completely unaware they are in it. It makes them think they are doing everything within their free will."
Vyra's mouth turned agape, while Yasuo simply nodded. The reincarnation goddess was shocked, with [Kotoamatsukami] alone, someone would be able to be [King Tier], not to mention Shisui's other abilities.
Yasuo was thinking along the lines of 'he's my subordinate so him being powerful is good!'
Anyhow, the group entered inside the house. It wasn't exactly the best of choices to stay outside. Once inside, everyone had found Izuna sitting on a couch lazing about, while Miyrae was beginning to cook dinner.
They usually ate on the evening of any day.
Shisui had gone to the kitchen, proposing to help Miyrae cook. She seemed somewhat hesitant to say yes, but eventually gave in from Shisui giving the 'butler argument.'
Meanwhile, the twins joined their father, having nothing 'significant' to do in the house.
Taking this time, Yasuo decided to check on his unchecked notifications from good ol' AM:
(Ding! The Host has completed a quest!)
(Completion Rating: S)
(Computing Additional Rewards...)
(Ding! Total Rewards: 345,000 Points, [Ability Token], [Random World Token], [Random Bloodline]: (Common—King)!)
(Host, use [Random Bloodline]?)
'Yes!' Yasuo mentally nodded.
(Ding! Using [Random Bloodline]: (Common—King)...)
(Ding! By a stroke of luck, the [Random Bloodline] has exceeded its limit by two!)
(Ding! The Host has obtained [Sovereign Tier], [Phenex Bloodline]!)
(Ding! The Host's [Luck] has increased by 20!)
(Host, use [Ability Token]?)
'What does an [Ability Token] do, AM?' Yasuo asked. If it was going to be what he thought it was, then his luck was absurd.
The token also didn't have a 'random' in its name. So, this either meant that he could choose ANY ability, or pick from a list of [Skills]. With his [Luck], either one was honestly fine.
(Ability Token - the Host can think of any ability he desires and will obtain it at the cost of consuming the token)
Yasuo grinned as a slight, unnoticeable chill went down his spine. And, almost as if 'it' was controlling his mind and body, 'it' began influencing his mind, 'small...small...small,' before landing on atoms.
However, the Uchiha boy was not conscious of this at all, feeling fully in control as though absolutely nothing was occurring.
Seconds later, AM had given out a notification:
(Ding! The Host has obtained [King Tier], [Atomic Authority]!)
___
[Atomic Authority]: Active - Lvl. 1 -
Effect:
[Atomic Control: Allows User to control atoms]
[Atomic Manipulation—Allows User to command atoms to:
[Create]
[Destroy]
[Assemble]
[Deconstruct]
___
At the announcement, Yasuo smiled happily to himself. Not only had he gotten a 'free quest,' but also enormous benefits from it. It was almost like a dream, yet Yasuo couldn't help but still be suspicious.
It was either that his now-[200] [Luck] was blessing him, or it was the prelude to utter disaster. The red-eyed boy dearly hoped it was the former of the two.
"Dinner is ready!" Miyrae's voice suddenly rang across the house, awakening Yasuo from his slightly disheartening thoughts.
Everyone—Yasuo, Vyra, and Izuna—nodded in acknowledgment as they headed towards the dinner table.
As they sat down, Miyrae brought over the plates of food. The first thing they remarked was the actual aroma coming from the dishes.
It smelled fresh, unlike the usual slightly burnt bouquet from Miyrae's regular cooking.
Everyone let out genuine smiles.
"Hey! What's with those faces!" Miyrae pouted.
But, she didn't wait for their responses as she went back to the kitchen, bringing more plates of food to the table. After a short while, Shisui came out from the cookery, carrying the last bout of nosh: the rice.
As they were all about to start tasting, Miyrae began to get slightly irritated. "Shisui-san, why are you not sitting down and eating with us?" She asked as the summon stayed as he were—not moving from behind Yasuo's seat.
Shisui shook his head. "I couldn't, and most certainly wouldn't, Miyrae-sama." He replied, adding, "As the servant of this family, it would be disrespectful for me to do such." However, that response had only lead to Miyrae to begin frowning.
"Then as the 'master' of this family, I order to sit down and enjoy this meal with us," Miyrae demanded.
She was always an honest, caring, and generous person. She was one who concerned themselves with the matters of whoever they minded about.
"B-but," Shisui stuttered, not knowing an excuse to say no. "No 'buts,' hurry up and come sit with us!" She 'fiercely' told, earning a sigh from Shisui.
The 'servant,' could only comply at this point, taking a vacant seat next to his young master.
Everyone let out a satisfied smile, their attention now fixed onto the intoxicatingly aromatic food.
The amount of food on the table was almost like a buffet, an incredible quantity that filled up most of the large furniture. However, not only was there 'amount,' but there was also variety and quality.
There were all types of dishes, ranging from rich vegetables to salivate-inducing meats. And most importantly to everyone, except Shisui and Miyrae, was that the food didn't look dry and bland!
The meals were quite obviously not made by Miyrae. It looked edible after all.
The family began to devour the food eagerly, and each dish gave them something utterly delightful, flavor.
Shisui was taking slow bites, but no one currently had the mind to care, too busy focusing on eating actual food instead of literal dust.
Anyhow, dinner soon ended without much hassle. There was regrettably no dessert, though everyone was already content.
And with that, everyone soon went to bed.
"Hey, Onii-chan?"
"Hm, Vyra-chan?"
"Why do you still have your glasses on?"
"...I forgot about them?"
___
The following day, Yasuo woke up even earlier than the day before. He had meant to check Shisui's [Status] to compare to his but ultimately forgot at the taste of good food.
Yasuo had done some slight stretching, before heading towards the unused part of the house: the attic.
The loft was the place where Yasuo usually did all his shenanigans, and now he was going there to—rather obviously—use his system.
Arriving at the attic, Yasuo mentally commanded AM, 'Show me Shisui's [Status] and [Skills], AM.' And the system responded accordingly:

Yasuo nodded satisfyingly. Shisui was strong indeed, chiefly when he used his [Susanoo]; a whole 2x for stats was astounding.
Yasuo then compared his with Shisui's, and the difference was clear. Their levels were more than a hundred apart, while their actual stats were even farther distant by hundreds.
And, once again, Yasuo couldn't help but sigh at the fact that he had yet to achieve [Susanoo].
Power and gain, it was just so enticing.
Putting that on the back of his mind, Yasuo looked at his abilities. There was one that had especially gotten his attention, [Unlimited Blade Works].
Why?
It was [Lvl. Max], and he had a chance to <Evolve> it into something greater!
And Yasuo did just that by using 100,000 points, having a leftover total of 245,000 points, and an [Unlimited Treasury].
From the description of the skill the Ancient Manipulator had given him, Yasuo understood that [Unlimited Treasury] was practically its past form, but also created unlimited items that were treasures.
As for his other [Skills], [Fire Release] was now at [Lvl. 39] compared to his other nature transformations of [Water] and [Lightning], which were at [Lvl. 17] and [Lvl. 21] respectively.
The high levels were mainly due to 'spamming,' but Yasuo couldn't do that with [Atomic Authority] unfortunately.
To obtain 'experience' for [Atomic Authority], one had to fully [Deconstruct] and [Assemble] atoms and repeat. Not only did it take immense concentration, but willpower as well—it was insanely exhausting. And, to make matters worse, it also required two times more effort per level!
But, even then, Yasuo had somehow managed to level it up to [Lvl. 6] last night, and the free time now.
Anyhow, looking outside the attic window and seeing the position of the sun, Yasuo determined it was soon to be Academy time. "Yasuo-chan! Come down from the attic!" Oh, there was that too from his mother.
Though the loft of the house was unused, everyone in the family knew Yasuo went up there to do whatever he was doing. It was quite a common occurrence, Yasuo had to check his [Status] after all. He couldn't just randomly 'blank out' during lunch.
"Coming, mother!" Yasuo shouted back, running down the stairs to the second floor, before doing the same towards the first. Shisui had prepared breakfast today, while Miyrae had surprisingly cooked nothing. She was always an enthusiast when it came to cooking.
But even then, the family enjoyed a delightful early meal of hashbrowns, eggs, and bacon.
"See you later, mother, father!" Yasuo and Vyra yelled back towards the house, as they ran towards the Academy. The parents didn't reply and enjoyed their morning coffee made by Shisui, merely smiling at their shouts. Even though breakfast was already over, couldn't they have a nice after-drink?
Shisui also followed the two swiftly behind. He had naught to do at 'home,' thus deciding to accompany his young master and mistress to school. There was also the fact that he was worried about their safety, more Yasuo than Vyra.
Who knows what could happen in the crowded streets of Konoha? Though, it might just be him being a little too paranoid. He was always devout in his 'past life,' and still is, but that faithfulness was notched up extremes when it came to Yasuo.
Now thinking about, Shisui couldn't help but notice that his personality had slightly changed. It seemed that he had lost his humorous side, instead replaced by seriousness and calm. The change was most likely due to his 'old age' in what people would call a 'paradise for heroes.' But, that was mostly all that had changed, many parts had remained unvaried.
Anyhow, the group of three had soon arrived at the Academy. Shisui had soon left towards home after the twins waved him goodbye. Yasuo once again donned his pair of glasses, ready for Danzō Shimura-sensei's class, while Vyra, once again, could care less about attending school.
Yasuo thought that the classes taught were quite dull. There was nothing more than learning of history, and the study of technology and [Jutsus]. There was no actual practice, only studying and learning.
Though, it was merely the second day of the Academy.
After, the school soon ended, with Orochimaru once again accepting Yasuo's request to walk home with the twins. No one was there to pick them up, Shisui was off to do whatever, while their parents were doing missions—Orochimaru was an orphan.
Once home, the twins would solely relax, with nothing else to do. That was the practically the end of their day, after dinner, shower, and sleep. It was then, where the next day was virtually a 'repeat' of last, only with slight differences, until:
"Hey, Orochimaru-chan, wanna come over to our house?" asked Yasuo. Orochimaru's eyebrows raised, the request was sudden and unexpected, and he didn't know what to choose. He was conflicted, one part of him wanting to agree while another was thinking otherwise.
"Why?" In the end, Orochimaru chose to answer the question with a question. Right now, he couldn't think of an answer to a simple 'yes or no.' There were too many factors and unknown outcomes for Orochimaru.
Yasuo grinned to his question. "We're friends!" Orochimaru slightly cringed at his simple reply, while Yasuo looked as if he didn't even believe himself with his now-awkward smile. But, Orochimaru slowly nodded his head after multiple seconds of deep thinking. There was no 'downside' in refusing Yasuo's offer, perhaps even benefits.
"Great! Then let's go!" happily said Yasuo, as he dragged Orochimaru towards his house, with Vyra quietly following them behind. She strangely hadn't said anything much during the entire day, though she assured Yasuo that she was fine.
The journey to home was not long, soon arriving at the front door of the house. Yasuo, opening the sliding Japanese-like doors, led the group inside the residence. Orochimaru seemed to be calm, but inwardly, he was dazzled.
It was a first for him, both visiting another's house and a rather luxurious one at that. Oh, Orochimaru was by no means jealous. He cared not for indulgence and luxury. One on the path of immortality—even if his 'path' was slightly insane, erred, and impractical—would have to face many uncertainties.
Though, he was intrigued.
Yasuo unceremoniously showed Orochimaru around the house, and they soon had nothing else to do. The average-large compound had nearly nothing for entertainment, only a kitchen, bedrooms, and a living room; all which were extremely clean.
"So Orochimaru-chan," Yasuo suddenly spoke up. The two were now sitting down on a couch, with nothing else better to do. Vyra too was doing the same, having naught to do as well. "Wanna spar?" Orochimaru gradually nodded his head to his question. He was rather bored and now was wanting to do something; thus, why not have a nice little sparring session?
Yasuo smiled cheerfully, excited at the prospect of possibly fighting Orochimaru. Yasuo had never really the chance to ever spar someone. There was no one to fight after all. Vyra wasn't interested, Shisui wouldn't take it seriously, and his parents would straight-up say no.
Yasuo happily led Orochimaru to the house's spacious backyard, while Vyra decided not to follow. She frankly wasn't interested, knowing Yasuo would win anyway. Arriving, the two chose their distances and readied to their positions.
Orochimaru charged, taking the first move.
And,
BOOM!
As soon as Orochimaru reached Yasuo, the latter threw a devastating full-powered punch towards his head. The immortality-seeking boy was already down for the count, lying on the destroyed ground unconscious. Vyra came rushing towards the backyard, looking for the source of the loud 'BOOM!'
"Onii-chan, how many moves?" The younger twin asked, more curious about Orochimaru's capabilities than his current health and safety. The pale boy was fine anyway, merely knocked out. "One," The older twin replied as he began to scratch the back of his head while using [Atmoic Authority] to fix the terrain.
Vyra hummed in response, becoming disinterested and went back inside the house. Yasuo soon followed suit, carrying Orochimaru princess-style and plopping him onto a random couch. "Vyra-chan, do you know what Shisui-san is doing?" Yasuo asked.
Vyra shook her head. She didn't know either. Shisui would usually be home by this time, almost nearing the evening of the day. Izuna and Miyrae weren't home as well. They were off doing missions for the village again, too busy to accompany their children.
"Hmm... I guess let's wait until Orochimaru-chan wakes up," Yasuo suggested, and Vyra nodded in acknowledgment. After time passing, Orochimaru had eventually woken up, while Shisui had still yet to come home.
"Where am I?!" Orochimaru panicked but seeing the somewhat familiar surroundings and the twins he calmed down. Sitting up from the foreign sofa, he slightly warily asked, "What happened? What time is it? Where am I?"
Vyra had decided to respond with a slight smirk, "You were knocked unconscious by Onii-chan with his first move, then he was kind enough to carry you inside the house and let you rest until you woke up now." Orochimaru began slightly blushing.
'Orochimaru-chan can blush?!' Yasuo inwardly thought, mystified. Anyhow, Vyra continued her explanation: "For your second question, it's now night, so you'd better go back home, and I've already answered your third question."
Orochimaru once again began to panic, now with a slight frown adorning his face. The caretaker would be worried, not about him, but about having to deal with a missing child. Orochimaru would probably get an earful when he went back. The pale snake-like boy ran towards the direction of the front door as he exited the house, yelling back, "Thank you!" while holding the back of his head.
It would seem that the punch still hurt.
And right as Orochimaru left, coincidentally: "Young master and mistress, I am back," greeted Shisui while heading towards the living room. Yasuo noticed that he looked tired, most presumably worn out from whatever he was off doing late.
"Hmm, welcome back Shisui-san," said Yasuo.
"Where were you?" asked Vyra, her tone slightly indifferent. Both she and Yasuo knew that Shisui wouldn't betray them behind their backs. AM had even personally confirmed it; the [Summoned] would have unwavering loyalty towards Yasuo.
"I was securing business, young mistress," Shisui replied. He didn't elaborate further; he didn't need to. Vyra already understood while Yasuo already put his trust towards Shisui, he didn't care what the former Uchiha was doing, much.
"Well, whatever Shisui-san! Make dinner!" Yasuo complained. He was a growing boy. Perhaps with ten to twenty times the standard amount an adult would eat, would satisfy his hunger. Shisui immediately nodded, promptly going to the kitchen to prepare a feast.
After the usual delightful dinner finished, Yasuo and Vyra routinely went to bed, anticipating yet another day of boring school.
