Chapter 26: We Need To Talk
Both Zhang Wei and Li Na couldn't sleep,they were both worried. Li Na couldn't understand why Zhang Wei behaved like that and Zhang Wei couldn't sleep because of his present situation with Mei. After staying awake for so long, Li Na closed her eyes and slept but Zhang Wei was still wide awake,he couldn't help but think about his he was going to tell Li Na the whole truth,he turned to look at her,she slept like an innocent baby.
"I've really gone mad" he said to himself. He didn't know what came over him that he could raise his voice to Li Na.
The next morning, Li Na woke up really late, she had called her boss the previous day to tell him that she wouldn't come to the restaurant, she woke up dazzled as she saw the line of jewelry arranged from her knee down to her feet.
"Sorry I shouted at you"Zhang Wei said as he sat down beside her. Li Na burst into laughter,her laughter was so sweet and innocent that it made him furious at himself, he clenched his fist tightly and stayed there watching her as she laughed.
" Apology accepted " Li Na said smiling. Zhang Wei got up and went to the bath room,all the anger he had been keeping inside him was released at the wall. Blood flowed down from his hand into the drain. He was angry at himself, he was going to hurt the one person he loved most in this world, he was going to make her laughter turn into tears. After coming back to his senses, he turned on the shower and quickly took a bath.
The next hour, Li Na and Zhang Wei were downstairs having breakfast, but Li Na didn't feel comfortable, her head started aching.
"Are you OK?" Zhang Wei asked as he dropped his cup. It took a while before she answered.
"I'm fine,its just a headache"
"I'll call the doctor" Zhang Wei said as he brought out his phone.
"No need, I'm fine" . Zhang Wei's phone rang,it was his office, he had an important meeting to attended, he quickly finished his breakfast and kissed Li Na goodbye.
As soon as he left, Li Na started feeling nauseous.
"Madam are you OK?" Liu Yang asked as she held her.
"Yes I'm fine" Li Na said as she went upstairs to her room.
Later in the evening, Li Na waited for Zhang Wei and wondered why he wasn't home yet. It wasn't until 8:00pm when Zhang Wei arrived and to her greatest surprise Mei was behind him. Her beautiful smile faded away when she saw Mei.
"We need to talk" Zhang Wei said as he walked close to her.
