Chapter 4: 004

After leaving the HQ of B.G.O, she stayed in the Empress' private villa near there. She lied when she said she was going to the Frontlines to assist her colleagues. She wanted to see how they would act when she's not around.

For the past few days, a lot of delivery has happened which made her curious so she sent a secret investigator to see what was happening inside the Headquarters.

"A lot of huge delivery has been happening in the headquarters. I'd like you to check it for me Eunsang," she said to her personal assistant.

"Yes, miss. Is there anything more you'd like to know?" Kim Eunsang, her Korean assistant asked.

"Yes. Check if the plan that I approved is underway. That war machine is something huge and can change the Asian history forever, that is why I'd like to keep a close eye on them," she said.

"Right away, Miss. I'll report to you in a couple of days," she said as she left her office.

She sat comfortably on her chair and started checking other documents and the profiles of those who died in the front lines and who are the prisoners of war.

As she carefully read each profile, her eyes locked on a specific profile from the prisoners of war. It was an Asian man who sided with the West against the Asian continent. He was deemed as a traitor and was banished from the continent forever including his entire clan, she was there when the Empress said her final verdict.

She carefully folded the documents and arranged them. She gave a sigh and a long thought about what she should do next.

After contemplating for a few more minutes, she stood up and grabbed the documents with her.

"Get me a car. I'm going to the 金色的宫殿 (Golden Palace)," she said as she rushed to the door.

After leaving the villa, she went straight to the Golden Palace to talk with the Empress' oldest sister, Queen Mao.

"Ahh, Chief General, how can I serve you today?" the Queen asked as she gently stood up from her seat.

"Greetings, your Highness. Pardon my intrusion but there is an important matter you take a look at," she said.

The Queen's gentle smile disappeared as Shao Tian handed her the documents. It was the man who murdered their parents. It was vital for the Empress not to know of this man, as it is in her nature to be vengeful and merciless towards those who wrong her.

"Does my sister know about this?" the Queen gently asked.

"No, your highness. Fortunately, the report went to me first. What should I do with Huo Jie?" Shao Tian asked, daring to say the forbidden name.

"Kill him as he had done to our fellow people. Be merciless if you can. If he escapes, it will be the end of the Asian continent," the Queen said as she tossed the documents back to Shao Tian.

Shao Tian nodded and bowed to her before leaving. After she left, the Queen fell back on her seat. Hearing the man she once loved is now their captive made her weak in the knees. She was the Queen of the Asia Continent and it was her duty to protect the people in it first. And Huo Jie, killed their parents without a single hint of mercy.

While Shao Tian was in the car, she called the East Asian Prison and ordered the firing squad to kill every single war prisoner. That way, the Empress won't suspect anything. It was too much, yes. But this is the only way to protect the country.
