Chapter 11: A powerful sun and signals from humans?

Berto continued moving through the desert until the suit began to notice changes in the surrounding temperature.

Berto looked around and began to notice how the sun was getting stronger and stronger.
"An anomaly of solar burst!?!?" (Berto)
Berto had listened to the conversations between hunters, who mentioned strange anomalies which ended the life of any living being that came into contact with it.
The Solar Burst anomaly was an extreme heat increase in a short period of time in areas designated as "Dry Areas" which did not receive any moisture for a long period of time.
Also in the world there were different types of anomalies which were also considered deadly for both hunters and monsters.
Berto had also heard the story of a group of hunters who entered a solar burst anomaly to test their defense equipment in the heat and that they were instantly incinerated in the blink of an eye.
Berto stood up and began to run while the sensor of the suit did not fail to mention the constant increase in temperature.

Berto could feel how the suit's system was slowly starting to stop being useful due to the constant increase in temperature.
Berto quickly began to run out of options and thought the anomaly would incinerate him immediately until he noticed that the green zone which did not seem unaffected by the change in temperature.
"It's my only chance!" (Berto)
Without loosening the speed a little Berto took impulse and jumped as far as he could and managed to reach the forest colliding with some trees.
"uffff...uffff...for heaven's sake...what a day." (Berto)
Berto watched from the forested part as the desert side lit each time more and more until the wave of heat began to fall as quickly as it had risen.

Berto could see that from the side of the desert there was a strange rock of brilliant color, as if it were cast of glass, which really was made by the mixture of sand and the intense heat.
"What is that?" (Berto)
Berto approached the sand and touched the sand lightly to check the temperature, touching the sand felt as it had returned to normal.
Berto way through the sand and took the strange object that was on it.
Looking closely at the object Berto could notice a strange color inside this.
Berto without much idea of what the object was, without having much interest in figuring out its functions, he kept it in his inventory and decided to start going into the forest.
After an hour of walking in the forest, Berto found strange plants that tangled on all sides.

Berto looked around and the visor of his armor detected strange creatures that ate plants.
These creatures were brown in color and had long horns on their heads, without a doubt they were.
"Deer?...How the hell are they still alive?" (Berto)
Berto noticed that the deer had a fairly well-formed body, so he realized that these deer were adults who had lived for many years.
"7 years later and I thought that all the animals had gone extinct ..." (Berto)
Berto began to feel how the hunger was becoming present in his body, but he wanted to avoid consuming the remaining scales of the silver crocodile.
Looking around the trees and shrubs, he managed to find wild fruits although most of them were blackberries which could poison it.
Although the hunger was stronger than his sense of reason and ate without thinking.

Berto remained silent while chewing the wild berries and when he heard about the energy bonus he started to eat more and more.
